I noticed that you added and removed (several times) a comment about the correct form of address for the Wardens at the talk page for Masonic Lodge Officers. Just so you know, I think we are dealing with another jurisdictional difference... in NY we never use "Worshipful" when addressing the Wardens by office ... even if the positions are filled by Past Masters. The officer is always addressed as Brother Junior/Senior Warden. The only office that is addressed with the title Worshipful is the Worshipful Master (your point about not referring to himself with worshipful is valid... the WM refers to himself without that word... as in "... but I, as Master of this lodge, do assure you that...")
Of course, things get more complicated if you are addressing the individual and not the office. For example, if the Junior Warden is a Past Master, he might be addressed as "Worshipful Brother Smith", or as "Brother Junior Warden" depending on whether he is being addressed as an individual or as the Junior Warden of the lodge.
In short... correct form and protocol is not always the same everywhere. Blueboar (talk) 16:32, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Hi, Nuttyskin! It is really cool to meet a SHARP-skin in Wiki. I have a whole summer to work on different Wiki articles and want to contribute (especially to ska and skinhead articles). Where from to start you advice me? (= --Nagasheus (talk) 10:53, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm Northamerica1000. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Hogg (novel), because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Northamerica1000(talk) 15:22, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
(Received from you on my talk page)
Thankyou so much for reverting my emendation to this page. I had initially attempted to correct an accidental link to a Disambiguation page ("Marquis de Sade" for "Sade"); but when I saved the emended page, more than half the content of the page had somehow been erased. I don't know how it happened, a glitch I suppose (or maybe my own inexperience); but unfortunately I was using a public library computer and my time was up, so I couldn't go back to set it right.
So, once again, thankyou. Nuttyskin (talk) 15:47, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Heya,
I'm a reporter with The Outline, a news and culture site based in New York. I'm working on a story about a specific wikipedia page that you are the most recent editor on.
I was wonder if I could ask you a few questions for my story?

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Masonic Order of Liberia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charles Taylor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 16:11, 23 July 2018 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Zoidberg are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 03:56, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Zoidberg for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use talk pages for inappropriate discussion, as you did at Magic Mike, you may be blocked from editing. My inclination was to assume good faith here, but I see that last year alone you were warned twice about using Talk pages without making it clear how you wished to improve an article, and the content you added in this case was potentially offensive and once again lacked any clear indication of how you'd like to improve the article. Please be more careful going forward. DonIago (talk) 01:01, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
There is a one year moratorium on all discussions of the title of the article Kyiv. That moratorium will not expire until November 2021. Stop your edit warring at Talk:Kyiv. For one thing, ALL discussions of changing the article's name belong at Talk:Kyiv/naming. --TaivoLinguist (Taivo) (talk) 18:13, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for your edits. In the post above, the line, "Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~)" means to follow your posts on talk pages with four tildes (which is what I am doing at the end of this post)—not your edit summaries.—Anita5192 (talk) 23:01, 10 November 2021 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks.
