Sure, give me a second. Silikonz (alt)💬 18:53, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
@Ejdnfo Done, to make it easier next time, the visual editor should automatically fill in relevant details from your source. Silikonz (alt)💬 18:59, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
@Ejdnfo Done for now. Click the 'Cite' button on the visual editor toolbar. To access it, edit on the desktop website. Silikonz (alt)💬 19:35, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
As an alternative, you can click the pen and switch to the visual editor on the mobile view. You can then find the 'Cite' button on the editing toolbar. Silikonz (alt)💬 19:41, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
I tried what you said on a page but it did not work. Maybe I did it wrong but I have Auditory Processing Disorder so I have trouble understanding meanings. Anyway can you please fill in the sources to my latest edits on List of school shootings in the United States (2000–present)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ejdnfo (talk • contribs) 23:12, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
Done again. Sorry, but you might have to try doing it yourself from now on.
If you're editing on mobile, tap the pencil icon on the white bar at the top.
Then, choose 'visual editing'.
After the view changes, tap the quotation marks 'Cite' button on the top white bar.
A fullscreen view should show allowing you to paste in your link. Press 'Generate' and the details will fill in automatically.
Please also remember to append ~~~~ (4 tildes) after your message if you're sending a message on desktop, so your signature is added. Silikonz💬 23:32, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
I finally got it thanks! Ejdnfo (talk) 22:20, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
No problem. Good luck on your next Wikipedia adventure! Silikonz💬 22:21, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
Neutral voice edit
Hello Silikonz - Noticed you reverted my edits on the EP page. Thanks for the feedback. The edit to the page was only an updating of Persoff's projects. There wasn't any opinion stated. Can you identify how it can be more neutral or if there's something missing? You mentioned a preference for leaving a comment here. Dimpler22 (talk) 20:31, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
Hi Dimpler22, a more suitable criteria would be inappropriate external links instead. Most of the content you added looks to be okay. You could add the links as citations instead. If you'd like to review WP:EL, you can try making the edits again. Thanks! Silikonz (alt)💬 20:47, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
@Dimpler22 On second thought, I'll revert my reversion and add your external links as sources. My bad... thanks for your edits. Silikonz (alt)💬 20:51, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
@Silikonz Thank you, I appreciate that. Good for me to learn the information on how to do these edits correctly, too. Thanks for your edits, as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dimpler22 (talk • contribs) 16:18, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
I assume this isn't you?
User:Silikonz-alts Knitsey (talk) 15:20, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
That appears to be an impersonation of User:Silikonz-alt, which is me. I state all alts on my userpage. Thanks! Silikonz💬 15:22, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
Hey Lawki123, unfortunately if you think the anon is worthy of blocking per vandalism you would have to report it at WP:AIV or the noticeboard, I'm not a sysop and can't perform those actions. I've rollbacked some of the changes, but not all, though. Silikonz💬 14:39, 5 January 2023 (UTC)

Place of photograph
Can you explain why you reverted my edit. An edit summary in such cases is considered polite. Captions on photos should be consise and relevant to the article. This is not a picture gallery and we do not really need to know where the photograph is taken particularly as it is not the airport the aircraft was landing at. Maungapohatu (talk) 01:54, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
Marking something in good faith does not automatically make an edit sensible - an edit summary is always better. Otherstuff exists is never a good reason to justify any move in Wikipedia following that will nearly always end up getting you in trouble. Sometimes the place matters but in this case it does not really, as in most accident articles. Maungapohatu (talk) 02:01, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
@Maungapohatu Rollback leaves a default edit summary. In addition, I admit that I didn't take a very deep look into this one. Feel free to make your changes per WP:BRD. Silikonz💬 02:06, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
Hello Silikonz, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I deleted Сакина Гаджиева, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided. The speedy deletion criteria are extremely narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct criterion is used. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:38, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
Note that CSD A1 specifically does not apply to any coherent text written in another language. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:39, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
@Ivanvector Thanks for the message. I understand the language bit; however I thought it might be eligible for A1 because it just plainly stated someone's name and their birth date without supplementing any context or information. Silikonz💬 16:47, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
You're probably right about that. I thought A7 was more appropriate, though - the article definitely didn't make any attempt to indicate why this very young person was credibly significant. Even if no criteria fit I probably would have deleted this anyway under G6 for being biographical information about a non-notable minor, which is oversightable anyway. Thanks for your help. Page mover granted
Hello, Silikonz. Your account has been granted the "extendedmover" user right, either following a request for it or demonstrating familiarity with working with article names and moving pages. You are now able to rename pages without leaving behind a redirect, move subpages when moving the parent page(s), and move category pages.
Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Page mover for more information on this user right, especially the criteria for moving pages without leaving a redirect. Please remember to follow post-move cleanup procedures and make link corrections where necessary, including broken double-redirects when suppressredirect is used. This can be done using Special:WhatLinksHere. It is also very important that no one else be allowed to access your account, so you should consider taking a few moments to secure your password. As with all user rights, be aware that if abused, or used in controversial ways without consensus, your page mover status can be revoked.
If you do not want the page mover right anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Thank you, and happy editing! Salviogiuliano 08:46, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
