Leading up to the protests, at least six cases of self-immolation were reported, including a man arrested while trying to set himself on fire in downtown Cairo.[1] These cases were inspired by, and began exactly one month after, the acts of self-immolation in Tunisia triggering the 2010–2011 Tunisian uprising. Six instances have been reported, including acts by Abdou Abdel-Moneim Jaafar,[2] Mohammed Farouk Hassan,[3] Mohammed Ashour Sorour,[4] and Ahmed Hashim al-Sayyed who later died from his injuries.[5]
The death toll from the violence had risen to 54 dead and 1,000 injured by 28 January.[6] As of 29 January, at least 102 people were known to have died,[7][8][9][9][10] many or most shot.[11] The dead included at least 10 policemen, 3 of whom were killed in Rafah.[7]
By 29 January, 2,000 people were known to be injured.[12] The same day, an employee of the Azerbaijani embassy in Egypt was killed while returning home from work in Cairo;[13] the next day Azerbaijan sent a plane to evacuate citizens[14] and opened a criminal investigation into the death.[15]
Funerals for the dead on the "Friday of Anger" were held on 30 January. Hundreds of mourners gathered for the funerals calling for Mubarak's removal.[16] By 1 February, the protests had left at least 125 people dead,[17] although UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay stated that as many as 300 people may have died in anti-government unrest in Egypt according to a report by Human Rights Watch. This unconfirmed tally included 80 HRW-verified deaths at two Cairo hospitals, 36 in Alexandria, and 13 in the port city of Suez, amongst others;[18][19][20] over 3,000 people were also reported as injured.[18][19][20]

I have talked to the other users and waiting for them to respond. This has to be addressed in the next 24hrs. -- The Egyptian Liberal (talk) 12:25, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
I agree frend.--Wipsenade (talk) 15:10, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
I mentioned him stalking you, the IP 94.246.150.68 is the major bad boy.--Wipsenade (talk) 17:09, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
I beleave the IP to be a troll. Every one else just needs to be WP:CIVIL. WP:CIVIL is much less upsetting than an IP troll or bad guy--Wipsenade (talk) 17:27, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Could you take it down? I can't, because, it's protected. --94.246.150.68 (talk) 17:11, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
OK, untill it's confirmed in time by the BBC, UN, EuroNews, CNN, NHK, Ruiters, ect.--Wipsenade (talk) 17:16, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Wipsenade, just wanted to check that you thought removing the table was the right decision. I haven't looked at the sources in detail so can't say whether its numbers are reliable or not, but I found the info useful and readable. If you're happy with it going then ignore me, I just fear this has been pushed into false consensus by one person's continuous arguing.--Physics is all gnomes (talk) 17:44, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
