Article is primarily WP:PROMO for the efforts of one Larry Block to get a certain designation for an area of West Hollywood. Article created and all substantial edits are by User:Blockpartyweho -- Block Party in West Hollywood is a store owned by Larry Block, as explained in the earlier revisions of this page. Redirect to West Hollywood. First off, the article is factually incorrect. Los Angeles, California is in fact a separate city from West Hollywood, California, unlike the opening of the article states. The history of the now-iconic gay neighborhood of West Hollywood is synonymous with the history of this article subject. It's basically the same topic. It would be like having a new article about the gay history of The Castro, San Francisco when the existing article already contains that history.--Oakshade (talk) 21:28, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agree with Redirect. The designation "Historic Boystown" hasn't even been officially recognized by West Hollywood at this time - it's still just a proposal - and even if it ultimately is recognized, the information properly belongs in the West Hollywood article, with a redirect from this name. --MelanieN (talk) 00:29, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
