Propose merging Category:French-Polish footballers to Category:French footballers

Nominator's rationale: Trivial intersection per WP:OCEGRS. I found no other intersection of footballers by diaspora community, and I do not think that this criteria has encyclopedia value. Notably, the category mixes people born in Poland who emigrated to France and played football there with French footballers with remote Polish roots, situations which have little in common. Dual merge to other parent categories does not seem to be necessary, as individuals for which Polish descent or nationality is defining are already included in the appropriate category from what I have seen. Propose Deleting/Listifying Category:Place names of French origin in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area

Nominator's rationale: WP:SHAREDNAME (WP:NONDEFINING)

When I saw this category, my initial inclination was to rename it and move it under Category:French-American culture by city because I assumed they were French immigrant communities. But there's really nothing French here except for the place names so the category name is correct, but not remotely defining. @Grutness:I just copied the category contents right here so no work is lost if anyone wants to start a list article. Most of the current articles lack a citation saying they are French words (although based on my intro French class they clearly are) so some work would be required in the article space. Listify. The topic here is that this region was part of the Illinois Country (a.k.a. Upper Louisiana Territory), which was a part of New France, albeit scarcely populated. That's where and when these places got their name, they were not randomly given names in French at the whim of eccentric fantasists. A local culture developed (see e.g. article Missouri French), however extinct today. It is therefore wrong to say that there's really nothing French here except for the place names, as the history of these places (not just their name) connects them to France and the local French-American culture. The topic may be better served by a list than a category though. Note that the category was named French culture in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area until an undiscussed move in 2017. Listify then delete -- There are a few names that derive from French penetration of this area in the decades before 1763. That would be a notable subject, but only merits a list, not a category. In sampling the list, I found a handful of articles to which this might apply, but far more were merely named after places in France (in one case Belgium), sometimes by immigrants from there. Nominator's rationale: Per WP:DEFINING (WP:SHAREDNAME)

U.S. Vice President and foremost slavery advocate John C. Calhoun had a number of locations named after him, although some have since been renamed due to that slavery part. Calhoun County, West Virginia, Calhoun County, Michigan, Grace Hopper College (formerly Calhoun College) and Bde Maka Ska (formerly Calhoun Lake) have nothing in common other than the name (or former name).
