Xiu Xiu LarsenXXL

The result of the debate was Retarget to Xiu Xiu and make connection clearer. Tikiwont (talk) 09:50, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No reason to have a redirect that targets a dab page, which does not mention the redirect UnitedStatesian (talk) 23:27, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HuggleWikipedia:Huggle

The result of the debate was retargeted to Glossary of anime and manga#H. Please don't point it back to projectspace again. -- Gurch (talk) 12:46, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do we really need this? And if so, I don't think it should redirect to WP:HG, as people using an encyclopedia are more likely to be looking for hug. DavidWS (contribs) 23:00, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Delete These sorts of cross-namespace redirects are almost always problematic. UnitedStatesian (talk) 23:07, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Something was there before. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Huggle . I am not an admin so I dont know what it was. Also, there's quite a few links to Huggle on talk pages and such, though not in mainspace. Soap Talk/Contributions 00:12, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Just a comment, you can see what was likely there at huggle. DavidWS (contribs) 00:47, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Delete. "What links here" shows mainly talk pages and WP:ANI entries, so a cleanup wouldn't be problematic. By the way, the article Huggle that was discussed in the abovementioned AfD has nothing to do with the Wikipedia anti-vandalism tool. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 18:38, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Soft redirect to huggle at Wiktionary. It's not an extremely common term for a hug, and a soft redirect there seems appropriate. Soliloquialtalk 04:02, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cure for autismAutism

The result of the debate was Nomination Withdrawn. Lenticel (talk) 01:00, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This was apparently meant to be a redirect to Cure Autism Now, which is an organization that is now a part of Autism Speaks. But these organizations are not the cure for autism, any more than the Susan Komen foundation is the cure for breast cancer. I currently have set this article to redirect to Autism#Prognosis, which I think is the most appropriate place for a redirect to go, but since there are no links anywhere on Wikipedia to Cure for autism I think that it would be better if it could simply be deleted. Soap Talk/Contributions 15:15, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just found Autism therapies, which I think would be a good place to redirect it to. I'm not sure if I can withdraw my own RfD but I am changing my "vote" to not supporting the deletion anymore. Soap Talk/Contributions 18:43, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you may withdraw the nomination, especially if you've boldly retargeted the redirect or overwritten it. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 19:52, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

William Hart(actor) → William Hart (actor)

The result of the debate was delete. It should also be known that the newly improved search functions allow a user to get to William Hart (actor) quite swiftly should the space be omitted. bibliomaniac15 02:47, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible typo in name of page Snowman (talk) 15:03, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question Does R3's "recently created" apply to a page created over 2 years ago? UnitedStatesian (talk) 22:51, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are we going to keep every redirect that lacks spaces? What's the chance someone types the actor's name, forgetting the space and adding "(actor)" next to the name? The search box helps to avoid these problems. -- Magioladitis (talk) 13:01, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(Smt) Sharda Sinha → Sharda Sinha

The result of the debate was Delete. Ruslik (talk) 08:13, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Procedural. Redirect was prodded. Rockfang (talk) 03:14, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for PRO-D given was Smt is equivalent of Mrs (or Madame in French). Placing it in () and prefixing to the name is not required. This is one and only biography entry in Wikipedia that has (Smt) prefix. Hence delete. VasuVR (talk, contribs) 06:09, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Heroescharacterbox → Template:Heroes character box

The result of the debate was Delete. Ruslik (talk) 08:11, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What's the reason for that? Magioladitis (talk) 02:05, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rent (musical → Rent (musical)

The result of the debate was Delete. Magioladitis (talk) 12:54, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible typo UnitedStatesian (talk) 22:57, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Then why is this apparently the ONLY redirect in all of WP that has an open parenthesis? Those that happen to be created are deleted under CSD:R3 all the time; this one was simply missed while R3's "recently created" expired. UnitedStatesian (talk) 03:17, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
