While the target streets are distributed between Third and Fourth Avenue, Fourth and Fifth Avenue, etc. I can't find any evidence that they are actually known by these names. • Delete all. This looks like an attempt at imposing systematic names, though I also find no sources suggesting these names were ever used—not even as a joke. Also interesting to note is that 6½ Avenue (a real street) has a source ([1]) suggesting novelty in its fractional name, further implying that Lexington, Madison, and Dyer Avenues never had such fractional names.
