Very dubious target; I've never heard this phrase used in this sense. Nearly every use of this phrase in English Wikipedia (including the two films Auto Driver and Auto Driver (2015 film)) is in the Indian English sense of "auto rickshaw driver", though auto rickshaw itself doesn't contain the phrase "auto driver". In other varieties of English it's a rather uncommon way of clarifying that you mean "automobile driver" as opposed to "bus driver" or "device driver" [1]. Not sure what to do with this. Delete?
