Redirect was presumably created because it was briefly the bolded term in the lead of Drunkard's search, but per the talk page, this was just vandalism, and a web search reveals no hits for "matacornea" being an alternate name for the article's subject. The result of the discussion was disambiguate. Legoktm (talk) 02:15, 2 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This redirect currently makes me go to page on Christian missionaries, but Dmitry Alimov also has company called "Frontier Ventures". This should make me go to his page instead, where it talks about the company. Ghost of Kiev (talk) 16:11, 23 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • There is an organisation called "Frontier Ventures" formed in 1976 (according to the website, its 40th anniversary was in 2016).[1] According to the website: In 2015 "The U.S. Center for World Mission and the Frontier Mission Fellowship were joined together again as one entity, known today as Frontier Ventures. The Pasadena based campus became known as The Venture Center."[2] The Wikipedia page Venture Center is about the Pasadena based campus of Frontier Ventures.
  • Dmitry Alimov, a Russian businessman, founded a Russian investment fund that is also called "Frontier Ventures" in 2011 or 2012.[3], [4] Webarchive suggests that it changed its website from frontier.ru to frontier.ventures in 2017-18. The current webpage is frontier.ventures.

The result of the discussion was retarget to Skeleton. Jay 💬 14:04, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This should be retargeted to skeleton, in my opinion. Adumbrativus (talk) 12:11, 23 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Toddy1: I have tried to at least partially remedy the problem of finding the animal skeleton in the AD&D monster list by placing an anchor. Animal skeleton (Dungeons & Dragons) now directly links to the place. Does anyone know how to do this better? Daranios (talk) 11:43, 24 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Potentially ambiguous; this could (and, at least in the past, has) just as easily refer to news segments on WABC (AM). WCQuidditch 01:31, 17 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Agreed, it should probably be deleted. - BlueboyLINY (talk) 03:11, 17 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Fifty years war

The result of the discussion was no consensus (involved close). Well, we have gone an entire calendar month without anyone commenting here. That feels like the pinnacle of no consensus. No one seems to want to close this, so I'm just going to go ahead and IAR and do it. No prejudice against someone boldly unifying these to both point to Arab–Israeli conflict or Arab–Israeli War. And definiitely no objection to someone uninvolved reverting me and re-closing this. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 10:03, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Should become a new disambiguation page, as just as frequently refers to the Cold War. Fifty Years War only related to the Arab Israeli conflict in 1998 (a book and TV series were published), unfortunately it is longer than 50 years now... Onceinawhile (talk) 21:46, 10 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Srnec: so it’s clear to a closer, which disambiguation do you mean? Onceinawhile (talk) 07:36, 16 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I mean, make Fifty Years' War a dab page to include the Cold War and a nod to the Arab–Israeli War. Srnec (talk) 18:06, 16 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • So this is another book about the Cold War. I think the book Onceinawhile may be referring to is The Fifty Years War: Israel and the Arabs by Ahron Bregman and Jihan El-Tahri. Neither of the current redirect targets, nor the Cold War, are referred to as the "Fifty Years War". We have no articles for the books, and we have multiple articles for the authors of the books. I would prefer delete both as ambiguous and additionally delete Fifty Years' War because of the apostrophe. I would not oppose a disambig page with the two (or more) book entries with links to their authors. Jay 💬 13:14, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
If you would not oppose a dab page, why delete? Srnec (talk) 15:13, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Because it would be difficult for someone to come up with a dab page. But if it does come up and gets support, then I won't oppose it. Jay 💬 14:33, 31 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This redirect has received 126 views in the last 7 years, probably mostly from people scanning for the typo "juvinile", as this is the only result. It seems unlikely that this redirect is of much help to anyone. An anonymous username, not my real name (talk) 03:59, 16 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
