U.S.A. An-26 operator?[edit]

Question: why are the USA highlighted in the map of military operators, although they are not listed below, in the table. Either they operate it, or not, I'm sorry have no time to figure this out now for myself. 145.99.170.201 18:32, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mountains near Bluefields, Nicaragua?[edit]

There simply are no mountains near Bluefields, Nicaragua. This aircraft crashed because it got too low and hit a tree on approach to a flyby. They knew the field was closed due to atmospheric conditions and had been told to divert to Corn Island but decided to look for themselves. See El Nuevo Diario article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.102.203.45 (talk) 16:09, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Crash near Lima on 17th Dec. 2012[edit]

Crash site in Tunisia[edit]

The site is roughly 40 km away from Tunis Airport, and not 60! Yes, Nianu (Near Grombalia) is 60 km far from Tunis Airport.. by road! not by air! The plane does not follow the roads, so, 40 km! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.1.183.129 (talk • contribs) 9:59, 28 February 2014‎

The source says 60km, so that is what we should report unless there is a different source that confirms your information. GB fan 20:16, 28 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Also Peru?[edit]

Have seen a Peruvian Military one, I think. Tried and failed to upload a picture 138.84.59.249 (talk) 01:00, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Peru certainly has operated An-32s. Could that be what you have seen?Nigel Ish (talk) 01:30, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal: Utair Flight 9706[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was: merge Utair Flight 9706 into Antonov An-26#2020s. (non-admin closure) Aviationwikiflight (talk) 14:47, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I propose merging Utair Flight 9706 into an entry at Antonov An-26 § 2020s. This is because the incident appears low-key, emphasised by bad weather as the likely cause and no fatalities. I cannot find anything that stands out in the incident, in contrast to Alaska Airlines Flight 2059. --Minoa (talk) 13:31, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
