This article should adhere to the gender identity guideline because it contains material about one or more non-binary people. Precedence should be given to self-designation as reported in the most up-to-date reliable sources, anywhere in article space, even when it doesn't match what's most common in reliable sources. Any person whose gender might be questioned should be referred to by the pronouns, possessive adjectives, and gendered nouns (for example "man/woman", "waiter/waitress", "chairman/chairwoman") that reflect that person's latest expressed gender self-identification. Many, but not all, non-binary people go by singular they pronouns, which are acceptable for use in articles. This applies in references to any phase of that person's life, unless the subject has indicated a preference otherwise. Former, pre-transition names may only be included if the person was notable while using the name; outside of the main biographical article, such names should only appear once, in a footnote or parentheses. If material violating this guideline is repeatedly inserted, or if there are other related issues, please report the issue to the LGBT WikiProject, or, in the case of living people, to the BLP noticeboard. |

It doesn’t even make sense. Who’s “they”? This is a serious problem in the West. Read some history books. This is some thin ice you people are walking on. 2600:1700:4BE0:4A30:90D8:C3BB:F03A:A9A5 (talk) 06:09, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
Having read the article, I just wanted to mention that this "they" situation, beyond any self-identification issue, does make for pretty awkward reading and impairs clarity. 2A01:E0A:DC:3360:C592:E863:27E2:7A91 (talk) 12:57, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
Why is this article missing the statement that was given about the video from the Icelandic Police Department?
"Gunnar Rúnar Sveinbjörnsson, a spokesman for the Reykjavik Metropolitan Police, tells TheWrap that officers were never called to the scene of the alleged altercation and no injuries were ever reported to the police. “No one was arrested or placed in custody regarding this,” Sveinbjörnsson said."

That statement was given in 2020, and reported on again in 2021.
"Reykjavík Metropolitan Police press officer Gunnar Rúnar Sveinbjörnsson told The Daily Beast in an email that police were not called to the scene, and that no one was arrested or placed in custody." https://www.thedailybeast.com/justice-league-fans-shouldnt-forget-about-the-ezra-miller-attack-video
Seems wrong to not include what the actual police said about this. All the other information cited is unreliable hearsay. 108.21.91.23 (talk) 02:29, 10 March 2024 (UTC)

He should be addressed as a "he". Thanks for fixing this. 82.45.232.165 (talk) 09:52, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
