There are independent sources reporting about misleading coverage including using altered pictures and strategic image montages, —PaleoNeonate – 18:26, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Other than failing to acknowledge that it's a human problem that has always existed and that in societies where abortion is illegal or medical support unavailable it is still practiced at home or by unqualified clinics using dangerous means, there also are sources reporting about pushing a conspiracy theory that the liberals plot to legalize the killing of already born babies... —PaleoNeonate – 18:31, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In response to Democrat President Joe Biden making climate change mitigation policies FoxNews reported Biden's policies would restrict Americans' beef intake. This negative and ridiculous characterizes the Democratic party's approach to mitigating climate change. The FoxNews claim was later retracted: https://www.cnn.com/2021/04/26/politics/fox-john-roberts-red-meat-biden/
Internal documents and communications reveal that Fox News hosts did not believe there was election fraud, and they believed Biden won the 2020 election. In spite of this they decided to keep lying to viewers.
Everyone, including the news team, was affected:
top brass backed decision to keep lying;
news team not allowed to contradict false claims;
internal fact-checkers were threatened;
all for ratings, Trump's approval, and to retain their far-right base.
Key Murdoch admissions.
Here are Murdoch's key deposition admissions about the case:
Murdoch seriously doubted the claims of “massive election fraud from the very beginning.”
Fox News gave a platform to conspiracy peddlers like Mike Lindell in order to make more money because, according to Murdoch, what matters “is not red or blue, it is green.”[*]
Murdoch had the power to stop Fox News from airing false claims but affirmatively chose not to, saying “I could have. But I did not.”
Perhaps most importantly, Murdoch admitted that some of the top hosts on Fox News had actively endorsed these false claims on the air.
Many of these admissions support “actual malice” by Fox News.[1] [*][2]

The Big Lie
I've seen many of the RS (similar to ones listed above) that refer to the 2020 election coverage by FN as "The Big Lie", or a variation thereof. I haven't seen a Wiki article on that topic by that name, but please correct me if there is already a redirect. There is so much here I'm wondering if a split would be warranted or even appropriate. I couldn't really care less either way, but I would be interested in everyone's thoughts on this. Cheers. DN (talk) 00:49, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
DN, if one takes the content related to Fox News, undoubtedly the largest and most influential spreader of Trump's Big Lie, and combines it with Big lie#Donald Trump's false claims of a stolen election, we could have a nice, and very notable, article about some variation of Trump's "stolen/rigged election" lie. The contents would be anything related to that topic, and would thus include the Big Lie content. We already have the content here at Wikipedia, but it's spread around in several articles. Just find it and ping me when you launch it! -- Valjean (talk) (PING me) 02:03, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
