Covert 'Demolished or closed Strip casinos and hotels' into table[edit]
Can this please be converted into a table? It would make it much easier to navigate the key info (I'm thinking of the columns as follows: name, build date, demolition date, notes/additional information). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.211.51.253 (talk) 07:49, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, the new stadium is being built "near" The Strip, but on the other side of the highway behind Luxor. While certainly worth mentioning in the same breath as Palms and Rio from a "hey, it's in the general area" kind of way... is it right to include it in a manner that suggests it is part of The Strip? It was only a week or two ago that the A's were seriously considering another site nearby but off the Strip. Since the stadium site is still being negotiated, I would not include mention in this in the article until a proposal is finalized and contract negotiated. -- LJ↗13:08, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @X CP X: When it comes to "The Strip" vs. "the Strip", the lowercase version is far more common in sources. This was standardized across the article in 2009 (1, 2), though I see you have changed it here to a capitalized "The". Any objection to restoring the lowercase version?
