Two lists? - Split![edit]

The unhelpful appearance of the TOC box, with half as an A-Z list (which can use a simpler TOC template - see other tractor lists) and half not, but organised in A-Z order, shoiuts out that this page is really two lists merged onto one page.

I strongly recommend splitting the two sections onto separate pages in some way...

I have crudely merged the two lists. It's not clear why there were two lists - perhaps there was a cut and paste merge of two pages at one point. No split needed. SilkTork *YES! 10:33, 5 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Section on Acremaster[edit]

I think needs to go somewhere else - it clearly shouldn't be part of a list but I am not sure if it needs a page of its own. Given I know nothing of the subject I'll leave the changes to someone else who might know a little more about it than me.

"other companies"[edit]

if this is a list of tractors built by 'other companies', where is the list of tractors built by companies that are 'not other'? A deep mystery for the uninitiated. Hmains (talk) 01:53, 4 July 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Does it mean "List of tractors built by companies which are not primarily tractor manufacturers"? Biscuittin (talk) 19:31, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Still no answer? What are "other companies" and why is this list still here? bobrayner (talk) 03:59, 9 December 2012 (UTC)Reply[reply]

List of tractors built by other companies → ? – It is unclear what "other companies" is meant to refer to. I'm not sure what name may help explain the content of this article, but I will say that List of tractors does not exist. Steel1943 (talk) 21:12, 5 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Seems this should be AFD based on a non-notable sub-list. Entries should go in one of the linked pages: List of tractor manufacturers, List of former tractor manufacturers or List of traction engine manufacturers Gonnym (talk) 16:33, 7 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
