The PBS Kids logo had change. Now the "Kids" is under the PBS in the thought instead of under the Dash logo. You can see that logo in the new bumpers and the website. Can you please change the logo? 67.233.52.171 (talk) 18:37, 3 March 2016 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on PBS Kids. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add ((cbignore))
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add ((nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot))
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at ((Sourcecheck))

Electricburst1996, for your reading pleasure and the part you most read over at Wikipedia:Primary sources: "Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, published secondary sources ..." That means primary source or self sourced material should not general be used. We are not here to promote Primal Screen thus it is WP:UNDUE unless it has been covered by third party sources. Bookworm block is not cover in given source. Spshu (talk) 22:52, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
@Spshu:, the WSKG primary source article is a better one than the one you have used. As mentioned above (though for much more supportable reasons), the WSKG article is a descriptive statement of fact regarding the launch date of the network on their station, there is no interpretation required and as such, it is usable. As a local resident in WSKG's service area with knowledge of the source you have cited, that source is merely a blog that reposts content, and in this case literally copied the press release they were sent. Their veracity as a media source is minimal - the site is primarily a music-focused events blog that distributes information to social media and periodically publishes press releases they are sent. It is not a valid secondary source.
Electricburst1996 did you even read the paragraph? Your statement is contradictory with your actions. "It could have the potential to throw the reader off if it is arranged like that." "..ran for six years.." indicates the length of time the nationwide network existed and you don't know that up front at the launch. It is written like a retrospective, ie. at the end of the national network's funding and existence. So after it ended then the article move on to another paragraph that talk about the network, well did it just not end per the article? A history is general written in chronological order. Spshu (talk) 21:55, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
It's time to discuss a split off of this content; right now the content about the channel is at a net negative with only 'it exists' when there should be a lot more about it; PBS station articles should optimally go there rather than just throwing a reader into the weeds. @Mariacer Cervantes:, please improve the affiliate table instead of destroying then reworking it as you are not giving a reason for your edits. The table is designed to handle the local format channels plus the original network attempt affiliate. Some seem to keeping local kids channels while launching the network. Thus with the table, you see which stations those are (and hopefully those that previous had the network). Yes, it isn't completely wikilink. It was not suppose to be complete yet, I was just attempt to get the information extracted as the source doesn't give start dates. WCMZ station will be shutting down in a few months (and I expect a few other PBS stations will too that have PBS Kids) thus it does make sense to include separate station rows in the table. We are support to collaborate not attempting to rack up edits removing others work. You are also adding a source (a duplicate of a source that is already used) about the first launch of PBS KIDS to the paragraph about the PBS KIDS Sprout program with the local stations. Spshu (talk) 14:28, 14 February 2017 (UTC)
This is not about the WTVS-WKAR Kids channel as it may not be able to use the PBS Kids brand. Spshu (talk) 20:38, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
@Spshu: First off, I must apologize for the wording of an earlier statement I made in my edit summary, saying the affiliation on KOCE "was the block." I will point out that there was no official network block provided to PBS stations prior to 2006, aside from the Bookworm Bunch in the fall of 2000. It was unintentional to state that as such. Like you, I strive to make sure the information provided is accurate and to the point. In view of that, the only reliable source that I have available are local TV Guide listings from early 2000 that includes a portion of the original 24/7 network lineup that was simulcast on KOCE from 12 midnight to 5AM. Some archived listings from the KOCE website have it listed under PBS Kids as well. I'm sorry that I cannot provide anything further than that. On a side note, I apologize also for not citing the date provided on the local KLCS subchannel. I regret that there's little information online regarding the launch date of that station's subchannels, but I can assure you the information provided is sound. Please take this into consideration. Thank you. Kresblain (talk) 00:26, 25 February 2017 (UTC)
Bring back the list of shows because people need to know what shows used to air on PBS Kids and what shows currently airs on the block/channel, especially if they are international readers outside from Canada/northern Mexico, and the page looks empty without it.

(Randi Wack) (4/18/17) I argree the programing list needs to be bought back. It makes the page more complete. better, and gives people more knowledge of the channel if they havenv't watched in a while. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Randi wack (talk • contribs) 22:44, 18 April 2017 (UTC) (Randi Wack) (4/19/17) How the information should be in tables: <snip> To be rebooted by Mattel — Preceding unsigned comment added by Randi wack (talk • contribs) 13:57, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

In the List of Affiliates table, KLRN (San Antonio) is mistakenly listed as being channel 8. It is channel 9, and switched subchannel 9.3 from V-Me to PBS Kids on 01 April 2017. 205.232.201.61 (talk) 22:25, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
