Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 21:48, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: There doesn't seem to be consensus on whether these other nicknames should be added (given they keep being added and deleted) and a side mention from an india.com article about a tweet isn't the most reliable, and even it says they're mostly used when talking about his batting skills. Mrfoogles (talk) 00:39, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If there was an article specifically about the nickname, or if we knew why the other nicknames got removed originally, that would probably work. Mrfoogles (talk) 00:40, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I removed other nicknames because there was no source in the whole article talking about the nicknames. Only "Cheeku" had a source. Mention of "Chase Master" and "King Kohli" in a title of a news piece is not enough for them to be kept in the nickname section. Though I think "King Kohli" is quite popular, so if one finds a source talking about it, then it can be added. There have been discussions on the WP:CRIC talk page about whether to keep the nicknames at all in the infobox. In my opinion, they're just useless, and fans just keep adding and removing them. A. It contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline:
B. Reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose):
On first look, the article seems rather heavily biased towards promoting Kohli; even allowing for the fact that he is an all-time great cricketer, the tone of this article verges upon hagiography, not WP:IMPARTIALity. To give some examples:
"he exuded remarkable talent, making it arduous for the coach to curb his enthusiasm"
"Sharma had to physically coerce him to leave the training sessions, as he was reluctant to depart"
"Kohli's ardent passion for cricket compelled him to travel long distances with his father to ensure that he never missed a match. With time, he diligently honed his skills and diversified his range of shots, commanding respect from the local bowlers"
"Kohli appeared to become more mature overnight"
"appeared to channel his entire existence into the pursuit of cricket following his father's untimely demise"
All of these, from the very first section, are trivial, unencyclopedic details more suitable for a puff piece than a neutral encyclopedia article. They also contribute to the second major problem:
Length. At over 17718 words, not including quotes, captions, tables, lists, or citations, it is far beyond the recommendations at WP:TOOBIG. I feel confident in stating that much of this excess length comes from the verbose, unbiased tone noted above.

This is to regard some changes which are to be made in the section which mentions the achievements of the stellar cricket player Virat Kohli. Some notable achievements are missing from the given Medal Record in the article. They are:-
ACC Asia Cup
Winner - 2010 Sri Lanka , Winner - 2016 Bangladesh , Winner - 2023 Pakistan and Sri Lanka
ICC Champions Trophy
Winner - 2013 England and Wales , Runner-up - 2017 England and Wales
ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup
Winner - 2008 Malaysia
These are the notable edits that are to be made for making the Medal Record correct. If done, the feeling of gratefulness would occupy my mind
Thanks and Regards,

I have split away the entire franchise, domestic and international career of Kohli into a new article mentioned above. Reason: Too long with no attempts to shorten and info being added by the hour.
I have seen this work when Lionel Messi was split to form Career of Lionel Messi; to shorten the article and make a fresh page of the career. This will ensure retention of information and 2 worthwile articles remaining be formed.
The new article also needs work: The lead, removal of bias; it has the problems which it had when it was here.
