The Spider Within: A Spider-Verse Story is a 2023 American animated short film featuring the Marvel Comics character Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) and produced by Sony Pictures Animation. Taking place between Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023), the short film is directed by Jarelle Dampier and described the film as focusing on Morales when he "starts to feel the pressure of his life as Spider-Man, which results in a scary, trippy little jaunt through his subconscious." The film was created from Sony Pictures Imageworks through Sony’s LENS program, and was first premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on June 12, 2023.[1]

While debuting the short film at Annecy, Sony did not disclose how or when they intend to release it to a wider audience.[2]
