Categorizing people

Hello! You added several categories to Mukta Moni, none of which are people categories. The subject has a disease or condition, the subject is not the disease itself. Similarly, we would not categorize movie stars in Category:Films. See more at Wikipedia:Categorization of people, and WP:Biographies of living persons. --Animalparty! Ok, I will take care of that in future and thanks for your guidance. – 1997kB 00:52, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback granted

Hi 1997kB. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

Pending changes reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Rollback on 29 October

Hi, automatic rollback should not be used on good faith edits, as it was here. Another user added the entry, presumably in good faith, and I moved it and linked it. Even if you disagree that Internet Day celebrated in South America and elsewhere does not merit a place on that list article, such an edit should not be reverted with the rollback tool. Thank you. —BillC talk 18:08, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@BillC: Thanks for informing. It always good to know our mistakes, so that we can prevent them in future, but as per Internet Day's Wikipedia article Internet Day is celebrated on May 17 in South America, that's why I rollbacked it. Thanks Again! – 1997kB 02:57, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Clerking at CHU

What was the point of this edit? The bot already posted that message. All it does is make the renamer's job a little more difficult by having to read multiples of the same message. Nihlus 20:05, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Nihlus: Ok, I'll take care of that in future. Why can’t I change the capitals in my name!

Hi! I am sorry I don’t understand what I need to do in order to simply change the capital letter in my surname! I have requested so many times and I don’t know if my requests are going through! Thanks a lot, I need someone’s help. Widad shafakoj (talk) 02:30, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@1997kB: I keep trying to request but it keeps telling me the name is in use and is unavailable, so I am unable to request it on Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations , but since the username I want (which is same as the one i have now except for the capital surname) has made no edits, and is available for usurpation, why can’t I change it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Widad shafakoj (talkcontribs) 02:46, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Widad shafakoj: Mediawiki software does not thinks in that way. 'Wadad Shafakoj' and 'Wadad shafakoj' are two different username for that software and we know that you wants to capitalize your surname's first letter. Now it seems that you want username 'Wadad Shafakoj' please follow up at at your username usurp request entry on Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations. Sanskrit

I see that you reverted the edits made to Sanskrit (largely by IP users, which I just copy-edited) using the edit summary, "Stable one". Could you please explain your reasoning for this? They seemed like legitimate edits to me, and the new image looked much tidier than the barely legible one that you reverted to. You even reverted the capital S that I placed at the start of saṃskṛtam at the top of the infobox. I'm confused as to why you did this. Cheers. nagualdesign 13:17, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Nagualdesign: Hi, thanks for contacting, First of all I was only removing its country status, because it is not official language in India and to do that there were two options, First I accept all those edits (as page is protected) and then remove the wrong one and second remove the all edits and add back the correct ones (as I did) but I was real busy in life and took this much time. Sorry for that. Thanks again! #1997kB 14:09, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. I was just genuinely curious as I applied for permission to be a pending changes reviewer earlier, and the pending edits to Sanskrit looked fine to me. When you reverted I thought perhaps I should leave reviewing to somebody else! It's good to know that I wasn't totally wrong. And thank you for reverting the revert. New Page Reviewing

Hello, 1997kB.

I've seen you editing recently and you seem knowledgeable about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
Would you please consider becoming a New Page Reviewer? Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; currently Wikipedia needs experienced users at this task. (After gaining the flag, patrolling is not mandatory. One can do it at their convenience). But kindly read the tutorial before making your decision. Thanks. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 07:46, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Insertcleverphrasehere: I am very glad to the invitation, but as you can see on my userpage, I am super busy until 20 December. Can I join page reviewing after 20 Dec.? Thanks again for invitation. #1997kB 04:39, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Of course! Any time is good. You can also request the user right now and then use it when you have more time available. Reviewers are not obligated to start using the tools immediately. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 20:42, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New page reviewer granted

Hello 1997kB. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers" user group, allowing you to review new pages and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or in some cases, tag them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is a vital function for policing the quality of the encylopedia, if you have not already done so, you must read the new tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the various deletion criteria. If you need more help or wish to discuss the process, please join or start a thread at page reviewer talk.

The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In case of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, the right can be revoked at any time by an administrator. -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 10:27, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Review of submission by Skdwived

Hi 1997kB, can you please help on like how I can merge this page Draft:Gita Arti with Gita Jayanti. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skdwived (talkcontribs) 16:33, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Skdwived: Hi, Thanks for contacting! As I found that Gita Arti is an prayer, which is followed at Gita Jayanti, so you can create a subheading on article Gita Jayanti as the article itself needed more context related to it. I could help you with merging but right now I'm little busy, so you have to do it yourself. Any concerns regarding this feel free to ask. Thanks. #1997kB 17:19, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@1997kB: Thank you for the changes on the page, I just want to mention one thing which seems like a perfect timing, as the day when you have reviewed the source draft & suggested a merge on the destination page i.e. Gita Jayanti was the same date of Gita Jayanti celebration this year. The picture I posted none of them looked european those vidoes were from the capital side (srinagar) and an indian interviewer you think all were pure bred kashmiris their are gujjars and indian uslim migrants in srinagar aswell. This is how an average looks like. An average Kashmiri looks similar to an average Pashtun or persian. We're dardic not Indic or south asian looking. YT1, YT2, YT3 But okay I'll remove the two euro looking kashmiris in the collage but if you want to show kashmiris as an south asian looking race thats offensive. Read the physical characteristics on the same page Kashmiris and kashmiri pandits don't look like the average kashmiri muslim don't show their pictures.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Dardic warrior (talkcontribs) 13:03 30 November, 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sega, Kaithal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hisar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Request on 18:53:22, 27 December 2017 for assistance on AfC submission by Zekelayla

I don't see exactly why this submission was rejected. It included reference from notable sources including the Boston Globe article, which Zwanziger was a primary subject of. He was also e.g. received a full profile in the Boston Business Journal https://www.bizjournals.com/boston/stories/2008/08/11/story3.html. The wikipedia article Alere already calls for him to have an article.

Zekelayla (talk) 18:53, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, @Zekelayla: here is the reason, that why I rejected this draft. I bet you didn't read that properly, because that's why you are here. But to clarify further let me tell you that the references you provided when i rejected the draft were just mentions and talking about 'buy and sell', 'resign from company', none of the sources were actually talking about subject in depth and which is necessary for an Wikipedia article. I think you got me what I want to say and please see WP:RS, WP:BLP. If you still have any doubts feel free to ask. Thanks! ─ 1997kB 04:26, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm Atsme. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, She for Keeps, and have un-reviewed it again. If you have any questions, please ask them on my talk page. Thank you.

Atsme📞📧 22:00, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, 1997kB - it is my understanding that when an article has issues that trigger an AfD, we remove the "reviewed" checkmark so it won't be indexed. If it survives AfD, it will be up for review again. Is that your understanding? Atsme📞📧 22:21, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, @Atsme: I think if a article survived AfD then why it need to review? I mean so many editor give their views in AfD and I don't think that it needs to be reviewed again and also curation tool automatically mark reviewed when we AfD an article, so it looks like tool is also designed in way that AfDed article don't need to review again. Thanks. ─ 1997kB 11:26, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
