Thanks, Bkissin for your comment on my draft article.
in my latest edition ,i have discolsed COI of the article. however, altho i have COI, but generally i think the mentions, and the content are in neutral, and i ve cited the sources of YAHOO Finance, AS WELL as Business insider and so on.these are pretty legit media in the industry. as you compare to "huobi","binance",or "uniswap" they are citing and wording more like an advertisement than mine, but still their submission are up and running. that is why, i am not quite sure why is my submission is rejected.
I would appreciate your and any other assistance to improve the article. thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zzz2497 (talk • contribs) 13:04, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
For starters, thank you @Bkissin for finding my plea for help in the Tea Room, and taking the time to review my draft article. Also, thank you for not deleting it once you thought I copied parts of it from somewhere else, because copying would be a significant breach of ethics. All of the words and organizational structure in the article are my own. The parts that have references are not public knowledge and are cited. I googled phrases and only found the baronies website, which I helped to create. The language that was used there, in some cases, was verbatim from my wiki article. That site was created after the Wikipedia article and at one time linked to it when the article was in the main space. After it got moved back to drafts, the link went dead, and the sites owner removed the link. It’s the only thing I can think of that would lead you to believe I copied and pasted anything, and if I’m correct, I understand why that could have been your understanding. What do you recommend? I have updated my talk page to address your concerns, in addition to this post. I know you are both busy and an unpaid volunteer. This as declined due to not enough media coverage. I am new to wiki and really trying to help this comedian who I'm a fan of and is very talented. I can also add his discography (I beleive 5 separate albums released) and his filmography regarding his Amazon standup special. Would that qualify him? I'm really trying to be part of this community but it is increasingly difficult. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.245.84.106 (talk) 13:31, 14 February 2022 (UTC)

Hello! I wanted to drop a quick note for all of our AFC participants; nothing huge and fancy like a newsletter, but a few points of interest.
Short and sweet, but there's always more to discuss at WT:AFC. Stop on by, maybe review a draft on the way? Whether you're one of our top reviewers, or haven't reviewed in a while, I want to thank you for helping out in the past and in the future. Hi Bkissin, Thank you for taking the time to review Justin's original submission. I have updated the article to include new sources from more well known outlines that you may find here ([Article 1[1], [Article 2[2]])
Additionally, you left a comment that stated, "Justin will become notable when he plays in an MLB game", and would like a further explanation. Even though Justin has not yet been promoted to a Major League Roster, he is still considered a Professional Baseball Player even if he is a Minor League Player. Further, if the qualifier for approval in regards to Pro Baseball Players is to compete in a MLB game, could you provide some clarity into why many of Justin's contemporaries have received their approval and posses active Wiki pages. For clarity purposes, you may refer to such referenced examples as follows: Cody Morissette {highest level reached, Low-A) Link:[3]; Ivan Melendez (was drafted, but did not sign and is still in college) link:[4]; please let me know if you would like me to provide additional examples.
You may also find other Mets Minor League Players that have yet to make their big league debut, but possess a wiki page here:(See Highlighted Names)[5].
Look forward to your thoughts and any adjustments I should make in order to receive approval. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read, review, and any guidance provided.

Hi, thanks so much for reviewing my article about screenwriter Dan Erickson already. It's my first ever new complete article, so appreciate the feedback. There wasn't much information out there about him, most of sources were basically all the cast talking about the writer in glowing terms, so probably that's why the article sounds sorta "puffery". But I guess I was overcompensating with the lack of information. If you can tell me where it sounds informal, I can try to improve it. Or perhaps if it's approved, other more experienced wikipedia editors can take down the tone to the appropriate level. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by SeveranceFan (talk • contribs) 03:05, 1 March 2022 (UTC)

Greetings Bkissin, a while back you reviewed two templates I created, for which I grateful. A template I've recently put together was declined approval due to the amount of red links it contained. I personally do not think that's a reasonable course of action at all: if users actually see the articles that are missing, they're more likely to go ahead and create them. Would you mind revewing it if I resubmit the template? Thanks. Wareno (talk) 23:34, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

The information quoted from the saltwire article on Nova Scotians United, is infact misinformation and a satire (I am the offical agent of NSU). We though it is true we don't agree in how covid restrictions were handled here in Nova Scotia, we do believe that there should have been a government response. The government response we believe should have been based in things like increasing space in our hospitals (permanently and temporarily), increasing pay for the hospital staff, government being more open and honest and allowing uncomfortable questions without belittling those asking the questions with labels like "fringe minority" all the way down to "terrorists". We believe in facts being presented separately to the opinions of the political opinions (ex; fact: the covid 19 treatment though it can help the majority of people, is not fully tested and the information on covid 19 treatment has not been fully released to the public though Phifer has begun to release that documentation. Opinion: the covid 19 vaccines are safe and effective)
The covid 19 response could have been a major win for our health care system through government investment in our Healthcare system and by allowing covid to hit our population slowly. Any attempt to say this to a government offical has come back to haunt those who say it with new restrictions and laws made against them in response, ignored phone calls and emails, a refusal of a public conversation or private conversation that answers questions without pushing a specific opinion. Refusal to look at facts and allow people to come up with their own opinions and make their own decisions with out government consequences based on specific information.
Our fight is not against covid restrictions but simply the ability to question government as a whole, the proper use of tax dollars for long term effective strategies for Nova Scotians along with fighting for independence in the media with the presentation of facts separate from opinions. 64.66.210.126 (talk) 12:38, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi, Bkissin,
I came here to ask you a question but I instead decided to leave you a comment. It seems like you get a lot of queries here on your talk page from editors that you don't respond to. It looks like you were pretty active on your talk page up to February 2022 but basically stopped responding after that. As a very experienced AFC reviewer, you're going to get a lot of questions about your reviews, especially when you decline a draft. I imagine this can get tiresome, especially when a draft shows little promise of ever being approved and moved to main space. Every day I look at stale drafts and many of them are in poor shape.
But for some of these new editors, you might be their first and only contact to an editor with experience working on Wikipedia. If you are too busy to offer personal advice, I encourage you to point them in the direction of the Teahouse, the Help Desk or the AFC Help Desk where they might find an editor who can provide them with some help. This doesn't take a lot of time and it can point a confused editor in a helpful direction. Thank you for all of your contributions to the project, it is appreciated! Liz Read! Would you mind double checking the numbers you enter (62.51% [North Antrim] rounds to 63, no 62 - seems the Beebs got it wrong)? The turnout percentage should be given to two decimals in any case (the exact numbers are available from the Electoral Office Northern Ireland Twitter, [4]), like it is elsewhere throughout the articles; and similarly for the FPV percentages. Cheers, RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 16:56, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
Should we really include them? I bet that they're inconsequential about 99.9% of the time, and it only leads to more inconsistent (since nobody seems to bother to keep a consistent number of decimal digits) and cramped formatting (since, well, decimal digits take up extra space...)... RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 18:52, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
Hi Bkissin,
Thank you for the feedback on the article.
I completely understand that a political candidate doesn't meet the notability guidelines, however the article only mentions her as a political candidate, but more aptly focuses on the work in child welfare advocacy as the main focus.
Would removing the mention of her current candidacy make any difference? Again, that is far from the focus of the article itself.
Please let me know, as I'm interested in learning.

This is meant fully constructively and this isn't personal as of course I like and respect you, but the fact that you accepted this without even at least cleaning it up or Twinkle tagging it is nuts. Featuring such gems as "For 73,000 inhabitants of Bakhmut, until the beginning of the war in full force, the city remained for an hour in the city with over 20 thousand inhabitants under constant enemy attacks.", "If Russian forces are able to consolidate, it will mean operative tightening of Ukrainian troops near the area of Severodonetsk and Lisichansk. Sharpening will be incomprehensible - but only one row of tracks will remain.", and "Rescuers withdrew crowds of 6 people, their camp was huge.". It was originally draftified for a reason; major chunks of the article is borderline incomprehensible, and the rest still has other varying issues, ranging between NPOV, grammar, and source reliability. Hello Bkissin,
I saw that the draft for the Hammond Gazette has been declined for the criteria of not meeting enough different sources, so I will get to work on that, but I felt like there was a discrepancy in your criteria for denying it. You approved a similar article (Il Risorgimento Italiano Nel Maryland) that cited a different part of the same project, yet denied this one. As I'm still learning, I was wondering what exactly the difference between these two drafts were so that I might avoid it in the future.

Hi, thanks for contacting me re this article. Please see my comment/request at its Talk page. FYI, additional sourcing available includes File:Cassidy_House_(Rapid_City,_South_Dakota).JPG (a photo of house before its original color scheme was restored). And there is this at Flickr, which is possibly copyvio posting of a photo from the National Register nomination, and with possibly plagiarized/inadequately sourced text. But further there will exist local and/or state-level news coverage of its original listing, and other news coverage which I am pretty sure I can dig up in "Newspaper Archive" literature searching which I recently got up to speed with, and/or Newspapers.com searching which I am about to apply for access to be able to use. As I state at the Talk, I would prefer to improve the article in mainspace (and I hereby commit to you to do so), which is largely because I think the contributor (who is apparently the owner of the house, per their userpage) should be affirmed for their contribution as being good enough already. --Doncram (talk) 17:17, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
P.S. Actually the Flickr contributor is apparently the office of the historic preservation department of the state of South Dakota, and there is statement that they uploaded only photos taken by SD employees, which they would have copyright ownership of, so their posting of photo is probably okay. Probably also about the text, which may well appear in the NRHP nomination document but if so they probably wrote it themselves and have copyright ownership. I will address this further and document at the South Dakota section of wp:NRHPHELP, for which i think wp:NRHPHELPSD should be a shortcut. --Doncram (talk) 17:24, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
Hi mate, thanks for pointing out a flaw in my draft page. I assume the problematic section was the phrase "A possible explanation for this is that bin Laden's remains were mutilated by canoeing after the photo was taken"
as I have no source for that claim specifically (note: I have now changed the paragraph wording to be clearer and less speculative).
I should clarify that while I haven't come across any secondary sources which specifically link the information I wrote about, the speculation that bin Laden's body was canoed is a very common one and present in one of the sources in my article (which I also referenced in the section). I have added the source to an earlier section of the paragraph to make the connection more clear. Tell me if the new version is any good once you've looked at it, if not let me know where I'm going wrong. Still new to editing so the feedback is much appreciated.
Cheers, Au489 (talk) 11:09, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
You didn't notice that IndependênciaS was translated from pt:Independências without credit or attribution. This is common and should be checked for to ensure that copyvio is not making its way into Wikipedia. (t · c) buidhe 16:35, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
Hi Bkissin,
On 16:02, 17 October 2022 you reformatted citations from the References of the article. It makes the citations text lighter; however it has a problem, many books I quote are e-books (mainly Kindle) or sometimes PDF, I do not always have the paper version. Therefore, the paper page number is unknown to me and I am not in position to give the requested location of the text I quote. One solution is to explicitly write in the reference the text I quote in italic. I propose to do that only on e-books, for the remaining sources, I will provide page, and line number of the selected text. Please let me know whether this solution is acceptable. Thanks

Hi Bkissin,
My draft has been rejected for Copyright material but I don't see which content you refer to. Can you give me more details? Some content comes from official FB page of the Artist (which is copyright free content) and we got her approval for that anyway.

Hi Bkissin, I am a doctoral candidate working with Dr. Muran and trying to create a page for him. I have edited the page in response to the comments (i.e. paraphrasing, citation, & publication section). Would you mind take a look when you get a chance to see if it's better now? Thank you! -Di

You said, "Being a Miss America runner-up is not notability..." which seems inconsistent with existing pages on Wikipedia. For example, as I look at the list of other Miss South Carolina winners in Wikipedia, there a number of former winners with their own pages and most have their chief measure of notability as winning Miss South Carolina. Note that you have to win Miss South Carolina to even compete in Miss America, and Dawn Smith was a finalist in Miss America. A good specific example is Ali Rogers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Rogers). Ali Rogers has nothing more on her page other than winning beauty pageants, the most significant being Miss South Carolina and also was a finalist in Miss America. She did not sing in a Billy Graham crusade, hasn't recorded songs, written books, have an active ministry throughout the United States, and so forth. I intend to continue to add to the draft providing additional items of notability, but the above comment by itself is inconsistent with what I already see approved on Wikipedia. My assumption is it will eventually get approved as I document more, but I contend it should already be approved based on what I see on Ali Rogers' page.

Hello, Bkission. I have seen your reviews about my draft. But in fact, I did not find the same topic with me and all of them pay attention to the whole information, which is not same as mine- use. Thank you

Hi Bkissin,
I've made the changes now for the draft page for review: "Windsor Tablelands", and added a good lead section for the article. Hope this is sufficient! I was also just wanting to ask a question about changing the title of the page, upon greater investigation the geographical location is more commonly known as the 'Mount Windsor Tableland' as opposed to the 'Windsor Tablelands'.

Please can you explain in lay mens English whats wrong with this? Spiceheads is the worlds leading brandname for information, help and advice to the public about NPS, that has sold many pix and videos to News agencys that have been published without accredication. It comes up hits 1,2 and 3 in Google and Bing when you serch the term Spiceheads and has provided cited information, advice and photographs to the Sunday Times. I just do not understand what is wrong, most of it refairs back to the cited main article in Vice and I have asked for help to connect up the citations, but no one has offered. I am both phisically and mentaly disabled, as you should be able to tell by my spelling and grammer. Instead of just rejecting it over and over, why will one of you intelegent accademics help an old guy with dementia? Is it because I am disabled that I am being treated in this way? Or is it the subject matter? All in all I am bewildered in a page that openly says that anyone, can publish or edit somthing, when clearly it is realy anyone with a degree in English that's part of the club. Not having a go at you personally, just very upset, almost suisidal that no one will halp me and I am being treated this way

Hi, Dear moderator Bkissin I have sent a small introduction about a scientist that you have rejected. In my opinion, this is a very and biased action. Rupesh Chaturvedi has contributed much in the medical field that is benefiting to the science community and it will give more benefit in the future. If you are writing an article about a person who has not given anything this world like (I can give you many examples) and at the same time declining a person who has a number of research articles/papers in the famous journal like PNAS, Cell, Nature, present on PubMed cited by approx 50000 times. Besides this as per I know He is the most cited scientist of India's Top Ranked Jawaharlal Nehru university, that you can see Rupesh Chaturvedi google scholar citation. He is also Director of R&D of JNU New Delhi that you can see on JNU website. Rupesh Chaturvedi is in USA Washington DC and already started a Big Startup project in the medical field. It was my first article and now it was last also. Public opinion that I have listened about the biases of Wikipedia, I got it to be correct. This is the respect what we as a researcher get from the common people for whom we worked for day and night.
Thank you very much, Mr. Bkissin Achyut Pandey Research scholar JNU New Delhi

I just want to tell you that I saw your comment on the :

Many boxers have and are still accepted despite these criteria. Several sources have been added in recent days. I really think this boxer is eligible for publication on Wikipedia. I registered on Wikipedia a few months ago and I hope you can review your decision, it would encourage me to create other pages.
Thank you
