What you did is to make an assumption about the motives of many people of which you have no understanding and certainly no proof. My assumption is based on the evidence in front of my eyes. So a user was accidentally blocked as collateral damage from the blocking of Landev - that is no proof at all. On the other hand, here is my evidence.
You have disappointed me. I really wanted you to have changed. You have shown me that you are still too immature. However, I think you could indeed become an administrator one day if you wanted to put the effort in to change. In my eyes, you would be better off if you disclosed everything that still remains to be found. Admit that you were Landev and you will hold a much better standing in my eyes. Get everything out in the open and apologise. Simple as that. What have you got to lose? Nothing. You can still keep editing articles as normal. What have you got to gain? The community will appreciate honesty and it might well tip the balance in any future adminship requests. If you have any skeletons in your closet then they could be really damaging at an RfA. Get everything out in the open now and draw a line under the past. Readro (talk) 20:08, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
You may want to re-vote in this RfA. After you voted, the RfA was pulled-off temporarily to give the candidate time to answer the three main questions. Now the RfA is back on but your original vote is not recorded there and, as I understand it, the timer has been reset. Nsk92 (talk) 20:40, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

I normally don't have trouble finding enough to write about with the mid-1990s PPVs because I watched a lot of wrestling back then and can remember the storylines well. There are a few matches that I occasionally have nothing to say about (eg. Leilani Kai vs. Alundra Blayze at WrestleMania X, because Kai wasn't even a regular competitor and hadn't appeared enough to build any sort of feud), but I can usually remember what was going on for each of them. Is there a particular match that you're wondering about with IYH2? I didn't watch as much wrestling back then, but I may be able to help. GaryColemanFan (talk) 22:03, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

D.M.N., I'm VERY VERY sorry because I know you're going away, but I am unable to do the review, because I don't have the time. If you ask Nici, she might be able to. I scanned the article, and it looked great without going into much detail. Maybe tomorrow and Saturday, instead of reviewing it, I'll just make the changes myself. I have looked through the edit you posted on my talkpage and it seems I owe you an apology. The pattern of editing seemed very similar to your own and being that the account had the traits of a sockpuppet, I made a connection that wasn't there. I can understand that you feel upset and I don't think that I'd be too happy if the same happened to me. That someone impersonated you is something I find a little bizarre, but nevertheless it served to metaphorically throw more petrol on the bonfire.
Your comment on my talkpage has shown me that you have gone some way to reforming. I am leaving you this olive branch as a peace offering and the following barnstar.

Hi,
I've noticed that several times you have removed the columns attribute on the ((reflist)) attribute in articles with the summary:
Some browsers cannot cope with [x] columns
While this is true, browsers which do not support the attribute should simply ignore it. Are you removing this attribute because you are personally having display issues with this template? I don't believe it should be removed on-sight if there is another way to resolve the issue. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 13:25, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

You're right. The Curtain Call section is looking fine for now. I want to add some more early history and more examples of their booking power backstage. I've already added one involving Shane Douglas. The nWo/DX section definitely needs some cleanup and sources. Some of the info seems like it might be hard to source (like the info about Smart Marks) and might have to be eventually removed if we can't. I'm going to see if I can find Hall and Nash's RF shoot interviews online somewhere, because from what I can tell from descriptions, they mention the Kliq a lot. Nikki311 21:55, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, I just started on it the other day. I just need more reliable sources for the real names. I have enough for the ring name, if that even needs a source, but not enough for the real names. I plan on having it done by this Saturday and under peer review by Sunday. The only problem is when I place it in the article everyone is going to freak and remove it. Hopefully everyone will be fine with it but this is a bigger change than the out of universe and the ips are going to go crazy. Just keep it a secret. Next thing I know everyone is going to be on me for trying to get it to FL. The url thing is a thing I do. I just adapted it. It doesn't cause a problem really. It just gives the sources a link all the time to know the site that it came from. I just hope IGN will work for pro wrestling. It works for video game FAs i.e. (Guitar Hero (video game), hopefully they will be find with it here. But thanks for the help. I have a quick request, first have you ever worked on a video game article? If you have would you like to work with me to get TNA Impact! (video game) to FA when it is released? Hi. Any spaces between a vertical-line character, parameter name and either side of a subsequent equals character are removed so that when any need linewrapping, all are linewrapped together. This makes it less likely that any one of them is accidentally viewed as orphaned and should also make it easier to spot any carriage-returns accidentally inserted or left behind from previous edits (which may then generate problems further down the line, e.g. when <ref>s moved in then out or out then back within template transclusions). Hope that makes some sense. Sardanaphalus (talk) 09:52, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Good to see you too, I clicked on a wikilink to your old name a while back actually, wasn't sure why it was red. I'm not that active on F1 articles at the moment, my main project recently has been Jesper Blomqvist, but getting a GA review is painfully slow at the moment. Hats off on getting an article to FA though!
My mindset at the moment is to do good, non-controversial articles, and take them as far as they can be taken (in the case of Jesper Blomqvist, I'm not sure if it's possible to take it to FA, but I won't give up until a good peer reviewer tells me I've taken it as far as it appears possible). I remember at the Lewis Hamilton GA how much hassle I was getting from BOTH sides on "being POV" or trying to give undue weight to certain things. In hindsight I'd like to have been able to have said "at the Joe Bloggs FAC this was considered a very good approach".

I have never been able to do the footnotes the right way, and I really appreciate it that somebody-- you perhaps-- cleaned up what I wrote. Now that it's pretty thoroughly sourced with newspaper reports rather than blogger citations, is it thorough enough to no longer be a stub? And if you know of other pages related to media figures that need to be improved, I'd be happy to help, since I love doing research (it's part of what I do for a living). I'm sorry that Killer Kowalski died, but am glad I was able to visit him and share with him and his wife some clippings about his long career, including a bunch he hadn't seen before... Again, my thanks for your assistance with my work.

My expertise is in the history of broadcasting, as well as American women's history, African-American history and American Jewish history. (In the case of Killer Kowalski, I grew up watching him on TV and had the privilege of meeting him, as well as showing him clippings about his career, which he and his wife got a huge kick out of.) Sorry I haven't figured out how to do the footnotes correctly-- at some point, I'll do them right, but again, thanks for your help. What I've been doing, as I am sure you can tell if you check my history on Wikipedia, is cleaning up and enhancing certain people's biographies, like Sally Jessy Raphael, Belva Lockwood, etc. I also refute myths and urban legends-- although I am still finding them on pages about radio history. I've got access to about 200 databases and have over 1500 reference books and magazines in my personal collection.
So can we now take Killer Kowalski (may he rest in peace) out of the "stub" category? Again, thanks for being patient with me. I've got a lot of reliable information but I am such a newbie about the Wiki way of doing things.

Hi DMN. A good page reference for the incident is p.141 (part of the Spanish GP review), where there is a box labelled "Benetton boss attacks Mosley":
“ | Benetton team chief Flavio Briatore weighed into Max Mosley during the run up to the Spanish Grand Prix, vehemently criticising the FIA President for the manner in which he had introduced the revised F1 technical regulations at Monaco a fortnight earlier. In a lengthy letter to Mosley, which was also circulated among the media, Briatore accused him of making 'ill-considered, snap decisions' in implementing such rules. He also made it clear that if the teams were obliged to compete at Barcelona under 'these ill-conceived measures' he would be advising Michael Schumacher and J.J. Lehto that they might be racing with components on their cars which had not been subjected to the appropriate analysis and testing. 'It will be theirs and the FIA's responsibility that they race,' he warned. 'Now that the teams have had an opportunity to test and evaluate the Barcelona regulation changes, it has become apparent that there are serious problems. The stability and consistency of the cars has worsened. This can be confirmed by discussions with the majority of teams and their drivers. The cornering speed of the cars may have been reduced, but the likelihood of an accident has been increased. 'Several teams are experiencing structural failures which are attributable to the change in regulations. The loading on key components, such as rear wings, has changed and moved outside the designed range. 'Despite these concerns, you continue to insist on these ill-conceived measures. It is our opinion that the ability of yourself and your advisers to judge technical and safety issues in F1 must be questioned.' Added weight appeared to be added [sic] to Briatore's viewpoint by the accident which had befallen Pedro Lamy at Silverstone the previous week. The 22-year-old Portuguese driver was hospitalised with multiple leg injuries after his Lotus 107C cartwheeled off the circuit at 170 mph on the approach to Bridge Corner, flew through a debris fence and landed in a spectator access tunnel. Lotus contended that it was most likely the rule changes were responsible for this accident. 'Our wide-ranging investigation is currently concentrating on changes to the dynamic loading conditions (lateral vibration of the wing assembly) caused by changes to the technical regulations mandated by the President of the FIA, Mr Max Mosley, at Monaco and being tested prior to Barcelona,' read the somewhat cool text of the team's official communiqué on the matter. Mosley, in turn, vigorously rejected such a contention. He explained that all teams had been told they could miss one race without penalty if they felt unable to re-engineer their cars adequately in the time available. |
” |
“ | These concerns [over the regulation changes] were intensified as testing of the heavily revised cars took place at several circuits across Europe. Lotus blamed Pedro Lamy's Silverstone shunt (see sidebar [above quotation]) on a wing mounting failure directly attributable to the new rules. Ligier suffered two cracked wing mountings while testing their JS39Bs at Lurcy-Levis, near their Magny-Cours base, and Williams also detected a cracked mounting on an FW15D during pre-race testing at Jerez. There was talk that the race might be cancelled; that it might be run, after all, to the technical rules in place at Monaco. Then Benetton boss Flavio Briatore wrote a highly provocative letter to Max Mosley, exacerbating its effect by simultaneously making copies available to the media. That provoked a stand-off between Benetton and the race officials, who demanded official assurances that the B194s were in fact safe before allowing them to compete. Briatore countered by saying that the cars had been scrutineered, so that meant the officials regarded them as safe. After an exchange of paperwork, the stewards of the meeting had the last say by issuing a communiqué addressed to the Benetton team. It read: 'In the light of your letter of 25th May, addressed to the President of the FIA, that parts of your car may not have been subjected to proper analysis and testing, you are hereby notified under Article 141 of the International Sporting Code, that unless we receive written confirmation from your engineers that all parts of your cars have now been subjected to proper analysis and testing, and that you take full responsibility for them, or such parts have been analysed and tested by the Formula One Technical Delegate [ Charlie Whiting ], your cars will not be allowed to practise or race at this event.' Briatore eventually backed down and gave the written assurances required. But Benetton and eight other teams - Williams, McLaren, Lotus, Pacific, Simtek, Jordan, Arrows and Ligier - then declined to contest the Friday morning free practice session, their principals instead convening in the Williams motorhome for a heated debate with Mosley over the question of how future technical regulations would be framed. |
” |
— Spanish GP, p.141 |
“ | Flavio Briatore had penned a letter to Mosley questioning the governing body's competence in its adminstration of F1. This had been leaked to the newspapers and it led to a highly stormy round of politicking at Barcelona. Was this [the FIA's release of Whiting's Imola report revealing the option to use launch control existed in the B194's computer system] Mosley's way of getting even? | ” |
— Benetton team profile, p.53 |
“ | By the time the question of probing the electronic systems of the Benetton came into the public domain at about the time of the German Grand Prix, the position of the World Championship-leading team looked distinctly beleaguered. Not only had they and Schumacher received severe penalties after the German had ignored the black flag in the British GP - an offence for which Benetton received a $500,000 fine and Schumacher a disqualification plus a two-race suspension - but Flavio Briatore's letter to Mosley at Barcelona, indicating his view that the FIA was not properly qualified to adjudicate on technical matters, had also left the FIA President in a less than sympathetic mood. It was perhaps understandable that the FIA disclosed to the media the report from Charlie Whiting indicating his belied that the Benetton had the facility to run an illegal launch (automatic start) control at in the San Marino GP... |

I did that because the user wrote something that had some racist tones in it. Maybe I should not have called him or her a racist. I admit that was over the top. Fclass (talk) 16:32, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

I, Diniz, hereby award you this Motorsport WikiProject barnstar for your major contributions to the Featured Articles 1995 Japanese Grand Prix, 1995 Pacific Grand Prix, several 2007 Grand Prix Good Articles and your other work in WP:F1 and the wider project. Keep up the good work!--Diniz(talk) 04:20, 8 September 2008 (UTC) |
Hey, thanks for doing the rollback. I wasn't sure if you were able to do it. (I don't know how to do one, if I am in fact able to.) I contacted Nikki311 about it trying to get a hold of an admin. The anon IP that made a couple of successive edits to the article made a few changes elsewhere. So, thanks again for the rollback. I'm probably going to leave another warning on his talk page (adding to the one for SummerSlam 2008) and hope that everything works out. Hazardous Matt 15:46, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

The edits were supposed to be oversighted - it appears something may have gone awry somewhere. I have emailed oversight to see what can be done about it - in the meantime, I think it might be a good idea not to draw too much attention to the links containing personal information. Thanks, Brilliantine (talk) 14:03, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
It looks good so far, though I will certainly have some more detailed feedback once the draft article is finished! ;) The only thing I would suggest now is that "plank" should link somewhere else; perhaps Formula One car#Aerodynamics#Ground effects would be appropriate?--Diniz(talk) 02:02, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Hey DMN, I just finished Hard Justice (2008); well kind of, I have the event finished and scoured as well as for the background with images, I just lack the Aftermath and Reception; would you mind to look over it and tell me how it is because I finished it late at night and I don't really know what I'm doing at 3 am?--WillC 07:39, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi, D.M.N. i want to ask some opinion, in case with 2008 ITA GP, also for further GP. If driver start the GP from Pitlane, should that grid alter to use PL (stand for Pitlane). This is the case for ITA GP, you can see both drivers actually is 18th and 19th, but start from Pitlane, however, last minute decision saw 20th grid runner did not up to that place (18th i mean). So, 18th and 19th is no longer consider accurate i think. Can you give some clarification over this for future GP? --Aleenf1 14:50, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Hey, I need some book pages, for HBK's article, if you have time, can you see if there's any mention on HBK's book about a "hand" injury and any reason behind the attack by Sycho Sid after WMXI, if there's mentions of it. If you can help out, I would appreciate it a whole lot. :) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 23:52, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
The correct spelling of his name has only one "t" in "Mathew." You moved the page to "Josh Matthews" with two "t"'s. Mostly likely, an admin will have to move the page. iMatthew (talk) 10:09, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Please leave the information you removed in the article or I will be forced to deliver a takedown notice to the owner of the site. Fred Talk 20:06, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Not that it really matters, but User:Ososmomificadosconcabezadetiburon12 isn't really random letters - it's Spanish "Osos momificados con cabeza de tiburon" which means "Mummified bears with shark heads". The account was blocked as having a confusing user name, all the same, but I figured I'd drop a comment and let you know in the off chance you might be curious about it. I hate to nickpick, but your comment was wrong. Triple H did win, back in 1997. Remember? You were right to revert the edit since he didn't start calling himself "King of Kings" until 2004ish and had nothing to do with the tournament, just thought I would point that out though. On WP:PW, Article Name Changes I placed Ken Doane to Kenny Dykstra because he is best known as his ring name and has gained major exposure like 4 or 5 said Support however one (Darrenhusted) said Oppose, since there were more support I went on and moved the page to Kenny Dykstra, is it right?, feel free to change it back but honestly I do not know SOME of the Wikipedia rules but I think this is right, again I ask "Is it right?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brothers of destruction (talk • contribs) 21:10, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi D.M.N.; a spoken version is on its way. Look out for it in the next few days or so, or certainly by next weekend. Funnily enough I had actually narrated it a while ago but not got round to editing or uploading yet. Your note was a useful reminder to me to do that! I always keep an eye out at WP:FAC for other F1-related FA candidates, so I'll add spoken versions to any more that pass in future. Cheers, Hassocks5489 (tickets please!) 22:05, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

that you didn't come to me before starting the thread? It's unlike you to start un-necessary drama with ANI... iMatthew 22:52, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
I'd like to request you learn the entire story before making accusations.
Also, please do not threaten me with voting neutral on an RfA that I never announced I would hold. iMatthew 02:30, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
You know I agree with you it being inactive. No article has yet reached a certain class. Though no votes because of it because one has to be removed so that a new one can be placed in. What do you think should be done with it? I do think this system works better than the last one though.--WillC 21:46, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
