Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by The Herald were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Once again, kindly add references from reliable sources. If you keep adding references from unreliable sources, it will only get rejected. The article needs to meet notability guidelines. Kindly go through the links provided. You may seek help from WP:Teahouse also. Thanks and happy editing.

I would also not advising the user of Mashable links that you are connected to. This would be a direct conflict of interest.

hello, I just finished reading the article about conflict of interest thx for telling me. I use the Mashable link because i learn about some people through it and because mashable is good source of news.
So i can keep writing articles but can't use mashable link and use some other links? Deondernemers (talk) 07:13, 17 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi Deondernemers. I noticed that you mentioned your wife is a business journalist at Mashable in your userpage and I also see that you have used many mashable sources in your drafts. Kindly refrain from using any of your wife's articles as a sources in the drafts or main space articles. This will create the impression that you are solely here to promote your wife or her work. Ignore this message if you have not used any of here articles. Please see WP:NOTHERE as well. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 06:52, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The author, Redactie, is frequently seen in many of your drafts. [1]Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 06:54, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
hi Jeraxmoira, thx for clarifying this. i used the mashable sources to find articles to write about, but i'll remove the Mashable sources from my drafts and replace them with different ones. also redactie means Editorial staff Deondernemers (talk) 07:06, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thank you, I learnt a new word today. The other author is [2]. You can still cite Mashable sources. WP:NOTHERE applies if you only cite what your wife writes. Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia <3 Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 07:16, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
yes Georgina used to be her colleague. And i'm not too sure what my wife writes, shes on the editorial team, ill ask her when she wakes up soon Deondernemers (talk) 07:19, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Utopes were:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
in-depth (not just brief mentions about the subject or routine announcements)
Make sure you add references that meet all four of these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission provides insufficient context for those unfamiliar with the subject matter. Please see the guide to writing better articles for information on how to better format your submission.
The comment the reviewer left was:
I cannot tell what this is, frankly, based on the two sentences present. (It's a media company that employs teenagers? It feels like I'm missing something...) Sources look decent but the current phrasing is insufficient for a Wikipedia article.

The comment the reviewer left was:
The Post is a deprecated source so should not be use (see WP:NYPOST), Mashable is an interview so primary and not independent. The NYT and Forbes articles do not say much about Taube so is trivial coverage about him. The SEC is a primary source so cannot be used to establish notability.

Hello Deondernemers. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Poybo Media, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Deondernemers. The template ((Paid)) can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: ((paid|user=Deondernemers|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName)). If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Sam Kuru(talk) 01:41, 20 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This draft is written from the viewpoint of the company, focusing on what the company says about itself. Corporate notability is based on what independent reliable sources have written about the subject.
Not every business corporation is notable, and this draft does not establish corporate notability. You may ask for advice about corporate notability at the Teahouse.

The comment the reviewer left was:
Article is short on detail of how the subject is notable (she is an American blogger, with two children and runs a business with her sister - yes, but so what!?). Notability (see WP:GNG and WP:CREATIVE) needs to be evidenced by significant coverage in reliable, independent, secondary sources (current references appear PR-inspired), ideally outlets (broadsheet newspaper, professional journals, major news broadcasters, etc) with a reputation for accuracy and fact-checking. Interviews are rarely reliable (WP:IV).

The comment the reviewer left was:
This would seem to fall short of the WP:GNG. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of guidance on notability for esports teams I can find as it's not considered to be covered under WP:NSPORT. The best I can say is that at present, the article lacks significant coverage (see WP:SIGCOV) from reliable secondary sources. Sports teams aren't self-evidently notable because they exist and have a roster. Part of the problem is that this seems like a new team and so there isn't a lot of information about their achievements, if any. The Entrepreneur source also reads like a puff piece. I think the best approach here is to go back to the drawing board, find more reliable sources that cover the team in detail, and draft more information about their lineup, involvement in competitions and results. Happy to chat on my talk page if you have any questions.
