Hi @Jeraxmoira: I saw your message. If what I added is not allowed, no issues. I happen to come from that town and the things I added were things I know for sure - the notable people and a school. I don't readily have references for such. Azunna4u (talk) 18:47, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

Hey! I noticed that you draftified G Squad to draftspace. WHen doing so, please remember to tag the redirect that is left behind for speedy deletion under R2 of the speedy deletion criteria. I believe there is a script that will do all of this for you however i don't have the link for it at the moment. ― Blaze WolfTalkblaze__wolf 14:58, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
Hey, I saw you G5'ed List of awards and nominations received by Rakul Preet Singh and then an edit conflict on my AfD nomination resulted in me overwriting your CSD tag with twinkle. I thought I'd let you know that you're welcome to add anything at the AfD here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of awards and nominations received by Rakul Preet Singh but if you wanted to throw the tag back on the page, I'm not opposed to that either.

Hi Jeraxmoira. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Please check back at the permissions page in case your user right is time-limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page or ask via the NPP Discord. In addition, please remember:
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. If you can read any languages other than English, please add yourself to the list of new page reviewers with language proficiencies. signed, Rosguill talk 04:09, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
Hi Friend Jeraxmoira, Noticed the tag you placed on the article I just created, How do you wish I improved on it? I have done some copyediting to reduce the infringement. Can you kindly help on areas you think to improve on it? Or do you suggest I do more copyediting?Odirichi2024 (talk) 12:13, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
Hello could you kindly review Draft:BasiGo. It was declined last week but after making changes the reviewer said it was fine but couldn't review again and accept to be fair to everyone else. hi, I am reaching out because I have been practicing (as you know by now I guess) in an area where I am interested, which is film producers, Canadian ones and those who work between the states and Canada.
Can I ask for some advice on my Jeff Sackman page that I started last week ? I have priced my information from many articles that I referenced and used your advice to keep it neutral by deleting certain things.
Is there anyway you have time to review it for me and critique it? After removing what you suggested and rewording, there's a tag on there for "advert" and that is not my intention.
Before I start working on a new one, I want to get this right.
Thank you, happy new year. Any help would he appreciated.

– SJ + 05:08, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Regarding your removal of TamilNet citations from my article submission: TamilNet has been deemed a qualified source by admins here, and is allowed to be and has been used on Wikipedia, provided explicit attribution is given for controversial claims. However, the articles I cited are only quoting public statements reported elsewhere, and are not opinion pieces. --- Petextrodon (talk) 18:54, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi, Jeraxmoira. I've deleted the redirects Akaay Kohli and Vamika Kohli. I understand your worry that they may be repeatedly recreated as articles by the gossip brigade, so to prevent that, I have salted them against recreation. Hope that addresses your concerns. Dear Jeraxmoira, I've noticed your extensive experience as a Wikipedian and was wondering if it would be possible to communicate with you privately online. If this isn't permissible, I'm more than willing to ask my questions publicly. However, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide an email address or another form of contact so that I can reach out to you directly. 2001:8A0:74E4:6401:BCDE:68E7:50C7:8167 (talk) 17:01, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello, Jeraxmoira,
I realize that you are also an AFC reviewer and choose which draft articles to review but there is an unofficial guideline for page patrollers that states newly created articles shouldn't be tagged for deletion until at least an hour after a content creator has stopped editing unless there is egregious content like a copyright violation or BLP-violating content. I'm not sure how many articles you have created, but I'm sure you can empathize, especially with brand new editors who are just learning how to edit. If you have just offered a review of their draft, you might consider allowing them time to respond to your review of what they have written. Again, if there is unacceptable content, it should be tagged immediately. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 05:19, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

We certainly have opposed viewpoints, but whatever the outcome, this has been both an interesting and extensive discussion that has brought me closer to policies, guidelines, essays, even WikiProjects I was previously never aware of. Hello Jeraxmoira,
Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.
Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.
Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.
It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!
2023 Awards
Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!
WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.
Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.
Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.
Reminders:
