Modussiccandi (talk) 11:48, 2 January 2021 (UTC)I'm the editor who reviewed your recent draft Shilpa Ananth. Congratulations on getting it published. I noticed your lead section was really quite short. Lead sections should be a concise, yet comprehensive summary of the article. This helps to show readers/reviewers why the subject is notable. I've expanded Shilpa Ananth's lead for you, but I've you feel like you want to know more about this, please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section If you have questions about this or anything else, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Best, Modussiccandi (talk) 11:56, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
Sounds good, thank you for the info!! Haveitall07 (talk) 19:00, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
Having talked to you about article ratings, here's a suggestion:
Would you be interested in being adopted by me? The Adopt-a-user scheme is there to help new editors by connecting them with experienced Wikipedians. If you're interested, I'd be the dedicated person to help you with Wikipedia and its processes; I'd set up a page were you could leave questions/comments for me to answer. Of course, there are no strings attached and you could always opt out when you feel you don't need the arrangement any longer. Should you not want to stick around after your first few articles, adoption probably isn't for you. Just let me know if you're interested. Best, Modussiccandi (talk) 18:21, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
Brilliant, I look forward to working with you. I have made a page for our communication, you can find it under user talk:Haveitall07/Adoption/Modussiccandi. I've left some info for you there, but feel free to post your own questions on as well. Modussiccandi (talk) 23:24, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello, Haveitall07!
Having an article declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! 🐔 Chicdat Bawk to me! 11:34, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

Hi Haveitall07, I've seen that the draft for your second article was rejected. Don't get disheartened, though: try to find some reliable secondary sources and you'll be able to get the article published in no time. Let me know if you need any help! Best, Modussiccandi (talk) 14:15, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

Hi Haveitall07,
I hope you're doing fine. Since I haven't seen you around much recently, I'm not sure that our adoption agreement is really necessary. It's meant as a programme for editors who want to be supported closely in their activities on here. You can still always ask me for help on anything Wikipedia related, I just think we should terminate the official adoption by removing the boxes from both out talk pages. I'm not disappointed or anything like that; I simply believe I misjudged your need for close support in the first place. Best, Modussiccandi (talk) 22:59, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary | |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |
