Hi Kosh,
I'll be your CVUA instructor and to start with I'd like you to read WP:Vandal. Let me know if you have any questions, and I can't wait to here back from you! Dan653 (talk) 02:13, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
Question:
(1) Why do we deny recognition to trolls and vandals?
Dan653 (talk) 01:20, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
You wouldn't be able to tell just by looking at one edit alone . (I'm reading Protect right now ) "....We are all Kosh...." <-Babylon-5-> 21:36, 9 September 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the mentorship so far !!!
OK...
1. Pages should be semi-protected when there is edit warring (and no talking it out ) on talk pages by unregistered or un-confirmed accounts.
2. Pages should be fully protected in cases where there is edit warring by confirmed users (even if non-confirmed users are not involved ). It can also be used in the case of a dispute where the parties involved (when they're confirmed and or registered) aren't speaking to each other. This would prevent them from changing anything on the article and force them to at least propose the changed on the talk page, if not get them to achieve consensus.
3. Yes I am interested in rollback rights as I do patrol for vandalism quite a bit.

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my userpage caused by user:82.14.80.64. Those marine boys went after this account and blocked it like I said, LOL. Thebestofall007 (talk) 00:51, 6 September 2012 (UTC) |
I recieved your notice about my successful test! I appreciate you notifying me that my test edit went well on the article in question.

Oh no I wasn't testing I was just editing in the (pbuh) because it's proper. I edited again the rest but that was before I saw your message. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.173.33.30 (talk) 20:32, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Okay sir and like i said I put it in the second time before I read your message so don't want you to think I did it on purpose. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.173.33.30 (talk) 20:37, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
Not sure what edits you are talking about. I cannot see that you have removed any of my edits, maybe you can actually point them out as they are not logged anywhere.Zrdragon12 (talk) 12:46, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
Hi. Not sure if you are using some tool for reverts, but this edit is absolutely fine. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 16:47, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
Hi. Could you please tone down the shawdow in your signature? Thanks. wctaiwan (talk) 12:23, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
This is my first wiki not sure what you did but I lost a bunch of new entries. I Undid your change. What did you change originally? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ericxedge (talk • contribs) 19:45, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
The Margaret Cho quote was not nonsense. i can see someone disagreeing with putting the quote there, but it was placed there in good faith. If you think the quote was inappropriate, i wont revert, but it is a quote from WikiQuotes.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 04:02, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
I don't know how your anti-vandal tool is operating, but you reverted the correct song title (You Suck At Love → You Suck Off) and Chuck Comeau's name to Chuckie Comeau after another user undid the vandalism. [1] ZappaOMati 18:56, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Numerous Problems with User:12.153.112.21. Thank you. Neutralhomer • Talk • 19:08, 2 October 2012 (UTC) 19:08, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi. I noticed that you've recently reverted some of Frammis4242 (talk · contribs)'s edits. I've started a discussion about his behavior at WP:ANI#User:Frammis4242. You are welcome to comment there if you wish. --IllaZilla (talk) 20:13, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
I've removed a portion of your comment at WP:AN [2]. I left the WHOIS result, as that is so easily found that it doesn't make much sense to remove it, but I have removed your tying that IP to a specific job. WP:OUTING is complicated, fuzzy, and sometimes in contradiction to WP:COI, and this isn't a 100% clearcut case, but we really need to err on the side of not outing anyone. if you disagree, please discuss rather than revert; questions of outing supersede the usual BRD cycle. --Floquenbeam (talk) 17:04, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Yes, it would be nice to be able to bend policy here and there, but at this point, it doesn't exist, therefore I can only enforce what's there. So, in this case, I'm enforcing the civility policy. Regarding the anti-vandal tool, that's how I found the edit to begin with, it looks for a list of "bad words" and points them out to me. It's up to me to click the undo button (and of course I take responsibility for any use of that button). Belive it or not, I do actually check edits first if there's any doubt, and I will usually leave that edit as-is if I have any doubt that it needs to be there (and I have ). Do you follow ? KoshVorlon. We are all Kosh ... 11:50, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
And for the record, I'm an adult as well. Like I said, I understand what you're saying, and I even agree with it, but currently policy doesn't support it. Why not propose that the civility policy be updated to match your view ? I would certainly vote to accept such a thing, as I told you I agree with it. KoshVorlon. We are all Kosh ... 18:27, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

I got a message saying my recent edit didn't seem to be constructive... how so? It was in the same vein as the Family Guy example combined with a bit of the Discworld wrong message. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.22.115.140 (talk) 18:56, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
It doesn't seem any more trivial than some of the others, but whatever, if it's going to sully the good name of the bible errata page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.22.115.140 (talk) 19:13, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
