Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Brassica carinata. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites (http://database.prota.org/dbtw-wpd/exec/dbtwpub.dll?AC=QBE_QUERY&BU=http%3A%2F%2Fdatabase.prota.org%2Fsearch.htm&TN=PROTAB~1&QB0=AND&QF0=Species+Code&QI0=Brassica+carinata&RF=Webdisplay in this case) or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:
Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own words to avoid any copyright infringement. After you do so, you should place a ((hangon)) tag on the article page and leave a note at Talk:Brassica carinata saying you have done so. An administrator will review the new content before taking action.
It is also important that all Wikipedia articles have an encyclopedic tone and follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your original contributions are welcome.

Greetings. I had to crawl through all of your contributions and slowly remove all of the copyrighted information from PROTAbase. Please take the time to read Wikipedia's copyright policy. We cannot accept copyrighted text. Here are a few more articles that you started that I nominated for speedy deletion based on this copyright violation:
We would love to have you construct these articles using your own words and contribute to the encyclopedia constructively. Best, --Rkitko (talk) 03:38, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your comments about the plant articles and inadvertent copyvios. We're working on a solution, and hope that meanwhile the existing articles won't be deleted. Kind regards OMG 15:02, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A file that you uploaded or altered, File:PROTA logo.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. AntiCompositeNumber (Ring me) 00:09, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:PROTA logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:24, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
