Delete per WP:RDAB due to the lack of space between the title and the disambiguator. The title with the correct spacing, Gunahon Ka Devta (1990 film), is the target of the nominated redirect. Steel1943 (talk) 23:58, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Following this edit by Magnolia677, Kurt and Monica Villani are no longer mentioned in the article. I don't know whether or not they should be, but so long as they are not mentioned these redirects should be deleted. -- Tavix (talk) 23:06, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is no information regarding any "Ant-Man" subjects which are connected or tied to the year 2010, leaving it unclear what these redirects are meant to refer to. (Also, Ant-Man (2010) had content for 5 days in 2008 before being subject to a WP:BLAR, and Ant-Man(2010) has an WP:RDAB failure due to no space between the title and the disambiguator.) Not mentioned in text, can't find any evidence that he was called this, search is finding a mix of other Hoot Gpisons. Rusalkii (talk) 19:14, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What is this, a scent that Margaret Mead sold or something? I see no evidence that "Something of Samoa" is a thing: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=%22something+of+samoa%22+%22Margaret+mead%22&ia=webJustin (koavf)TCM 13:10, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was no consensus. Jay 💬 05:16, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This game appears to still be an upcoming title, and has not released in 2023 according to the sources that I could find. Thus, this redirect is factually inaccurate and I would recommend its deletion. The redirect Maximum Football (2024 video game) is also not supported by sources as a windowed release per a recent RM, and I would recommend its deletion as well (though the page can be moved to the 2024 title if it is indeed released this year) The Night Watch (talk) 18:58, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It is nonsensically redundant to the Xerox PARC redirect, as is this new user's compulsion, and other such redirects have already been deleted as misuse of a redirect. The rationale in the rejecting edit summary makes no sense at all either. Both misunderstand the purpose of redirects. You don't test them by dumping an arbitrary text into Google and mindlessly reading the fallacious number of alleged results. This redirect does not aid the Wikipedia search engine or any user in any way. Nobody would ever type this string of text into a computer. — Smuckola(talk) 12:04, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Vogt

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was replace with Michael Vogt (bobsledder) as presumptive primary topic. A skim of Special:Search/~"Michael Vogt" suggests there is not currently enough material about other Michaels Vogt for a DAB, but per WP:PRIMARYRED The existing article is not automatically the primary topic, so if someone does find room for a DAB, feel free to BOLDly move this back and create a DAB page. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe) 00:20, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Recommending deletion, as many potentially notable people share this particular name, but none have their own Wikipedia article, and there is currently a Swiss bobsledder in Wikidata and other parts of Wikipedia who is often erroneously linked to a software page they most likely have nothing to do with (per past commenters as well as a quick "What links here" check, which also turns up a tuba player with this name). Cielquiparle (talk) 05:43, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, you'll see that this Redirect page is currently linked to six other non-English Wikipedia articles about people named "Michael Vogt" (primarily the Swiss bobsledder), and German Wikipedia has a disambiguation page listing several potentially notable people with the same name (including two who currently have articles who are not the software developer): de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Vogt Cielquiparle (talk) 05:30, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As the bobsledder has now got an article on the English Wikipedia he should be moved here. Inwind (talk) 06:55, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Nice work @Marcinho1911. Great that redirecting to Michael Vogt (bobsledder) is now an option...but why not simply move Michael Vogt (bobsledder) to Michael Vogt instead? In any case, it may be worth keeping this discussion open for a full week or so to see if any Michael Vogt articles pop up in the meantime, which might further change the outcome of this discussion.
