Atan (Persian: اتان)[a] is a village in Alamut-e Pain Rural District, Alamut-e Sharqi District, Qazvin County, Qazvin province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 316 in 111 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 248 people in 102 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 379 people in 148 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
