Chistoozyorny District (Russian: Чистоозёрный райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 5,690 square kilometers (2,200 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Chistoozyornoye.[1] Population: 19,603 (2010 Census);[3] 22,444 (2002 Census);[8] 24,126 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Chistoozyornoye accounts for 32.8% of the district's total population.[3]
