Ordynsky District (Russian: Ордынский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 4,748 square kilometers (1,833 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Ordynskoye.[1] Population: 36,708 (2010 Census);[3] 39,209 (2002 Census);[8] 38,231 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Ordynskoye accounts for 27.9% of the district's total population.[3]
