Suzunsky District (Russian: Сузу́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the thirty in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 4,746 square kilometers (1,832 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Suzun.[1] Population: 32,592 (2010 Census);[2] 34,917 (2002 Census);[7] 35,677 (1989 Census).[8] The population of Suzun accounts for 47.1% of the district's total population.[2]
