This edit is WP:OR[1]. This Scientific Statement from the American Heart Association from 2021 is on Cardiovascular Health [2]. The paper is not an update of their 2001 recommendations nor mentions high-protein diets. The 2001 paper was on Dietary Protein and Weight Reduction [3] which mentions high-protein diets. The line "instead of discouraging high-protein diets" is not only original research it is not true. These are two Scientific Statements on separate subjects, the 2021 paper does not even mention or refer to the 2001 paper. Let's keep to what the sources actually say.
