The 'Laconia' returned home to the UK from Cape Town, South Africa, with a convoy in June 1916, carrying a large shipment of gold ingots, and offloaded them at Devonport. Then again she was used to carry silver, when she was sunk, I have referenced that too. --BeckenhamBear (talk) 17:34, 30 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
