Saskatoon SheiksSaskatoon Crescents – This is not only the name which they held the longest, but also appears to be their most famous name. GiantSnowman 16:43, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose Actually it looks like this article was changed by someone to have incorrect information. The team was known as the Sheiks for most of its existence. -DJSasso (talk) 18:14, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

All three hockey encyclopedia's that I have note that the Saskatoon hockey team changed their name from the Sheiks to the Crescents for most of their existence. They differ on when the change was made though: Total Hockey notes them changing (and staying) the Crescents for the 22-23 season, while The Hockey Compendium notes them changing for the 23-24 season.18abruce (talk) 09:31, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose, if I'm understanding it correctly, the Shieks are the more common-name & used the longest. GoodDay (talk) 15:31, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
