There has been many deletions of modifications made to this article. Any non-positively Christian comments have been deleted. This is entirely unacceptable. This is NOT Conservapaedia/Conservapedia. Wikipaedia/Wikipedia must be free. If this article has aspects which are not positive about Christianity deleted again, I will delete the whole article and report it to Wikipaedia/Wikipedia for locking. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.31.15.112 (talk) 01:10, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
In the 'private life' section it is mentioned and referenced that there is the site 'restorestephenbalwin.org' attempting to restore him, and there is also a separate section at the end of the article with the same sort of information. Someone who knows what they're doing ought to (is necessarily obliged to) delete the section at the end of the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.97.150.77 (talk) 00:24, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
What do you call an actor from anywhere else in the western hemisphere? Or have the people of the US preempted the word for their exclusive use? According to your own article the 'Americas' include Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Seems a bit of arrogant 'gringoism' to keep usurping this term over the other 30+ peoples who live there. I also see another article which is not so much an explanation as a defence - and it's certainly not shared by the peoples in the other 30+ countries who by the way greatly outnumber people in the US. Wikipedia should be about truth and peace and a good way to start would be at home by discouraging use of this imperialistic epithet.
Anybody have a better public domain picture? The current one is horrible. Looks like it was taken with a security cam at a gym or something silly like that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sacr1fyce (talk • contribs) 03:26, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Where did Mr. Baldwin say that he was a Born-again Christian? A link with a source would be useful here. I have searched the web but so far come up with nothing. --BenjaminHare 06:52, 2005 May 1 (UTC)
Check his book The Unusual Suspect for details on his conversion....it's all there.Danielsouthern (talk) 03:49, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Dan Southern
Don't worry, I'll just download the pdf file, check it, and then throw it out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.138.105.38 (talk) 15:26, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
I have sourced an online article from "showbuzz," Reference #8 on the "Wiki" page, where SB is being interviewed about becoming a born-again Christian. I have also sourced the sentence that tells that SB was an accomplished opera singer in high school (Reference #4). I also sourced and filled out the section on SB's time on Celebrity Apprentice (Reference #11). --Canihaveacookie 19:32 p.m., CST, 3/25/'08

It is extremely well known and widely covered that Stephen Baldwin is a conservative Christian.

It is a pretty well known fact. I even saw him speak at the Luis Palau Evangelistic Rally in St. Paul last year and he gave a testimony about his faith. It is referenced on his IMDB page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000286/bio --Borisborf 06:40, 22 May 2005 (UTC)
I've removed the to-do list, the cleanup tag, and the table, having found that the removal of the latter eliminated the need for the other two. Mackensen (talk) 23:28, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I'd like to see some reliable sources for the claims that he's some disgusting born-again Christian with a Hannah Montana tattoo on his shoulder. This is just mean and irresponsible, as far as I'm concerned. Mardiste (talk) 03:02, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
Is it safe to say that his most famous role was as Michael McManus in The Usual Suspects?--BohicaTwentyTwo 14:29, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
I think his persistent pervertedness and lewdness in conjunction with another "born-again Christian" Corbin Berntsen on the two Celebrity Moles takes that cake. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.123.196.39 (talk • contribs)
Check your chronology. Stephen was indeed a very lewd individual before his conversion to Christ but has had a total transformation since 2002 when he had a dramatic life-change. Seems like we ought to give one another an opportunity to become a new person when it is a sincere personal experience. If we knew what went on behind the closed doors of even the most moderate critic, it would reveal a lot. Dan Southern danielsouthern (talk) 03:42, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Not only is the content questionable, but this is a very poorly written article. The grammar and syntax are wildly awkward.
Should it be mentioned that he seems to be the king of the Sci Fi channel's "original movies" these days? In the past year, he must have starred in over a dozen Grade Z, badly filmed, badly acted, and badly directed monster-on-the-loose-killer-tornado-asteroids-from-space-time-travel flicks. -- —Preceding unsigned comment added by [[User:(({1))}|(({1))}]] ([[User talk:(({1))}|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/(({1))}|contribs]])
I've tagged this article for clean up due to its poorly written nature, completely lack of information about Baldwin's early career, and excessive focus on his more recent Christian status. It is also lacking a lot of information normally found in articles about bigger name celebrities. AnmaFinotera 09:05, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
I took this as a joking reference to his brother Alec's alleged promise to leave America if Bush was elected president in 2000. Does anyone else think the way the article addresses this issue is misleading? PubliusFL (talk) 16:13, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes, when you watch the clip, it's evident that he's making a joking reference to his brother's supposed promise to leave. -- —Preceding unsigned comment added by [[User:(({1))}|(({1))}]] ([[User talk:(({1))}|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/(({1))}|contribs]])
This currently concentrates on his Christian and celebrity activities. We need more on his actual acting career. -- Beardo (talk) 18:41, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
"On October 30, 2008, Baldwin made an appearance on the Ron and Fez Show where he gave subtle hints that he believed that Barack Obama may be the Antichrist after an epiphany he had during an intense period of prayer and meditation, but was told by the Holy Spirit that his revelation is not to be spoken of. "
Was he serious - or was he joking ? -- Beardo (talk) 20:49, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Why would leaving the Catholic church to become Evangelical make him lose credibility with traditional Christians? Where is the citation? All Evangelicals are Protestants. It's a well-known movement within the Protestant denomination. He was not really a devout Catholic with his partying lifestyle before. Just because his views are controversial doesn't make him unstable. Azn Clayjar (talk) 14:25, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
The last two links in the references do not provide any verification, being elapsed. This is a major flaw, since they relate to precise information about Baldwin's bankruptcy and debts. He is in Big Brother in the UK at the moment, and a lot of people, like myself, will be looking this article up to find out about him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.18.67.13 (talk) 14:46, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Personal life section. Recently added (19:27, 9 July 2010) quote "Stephen is also very talented at playing the tambourine, woodblock and triangle" (no period). My comment on this is: Out of context, strongly implies sarcasm, veiled sarcasm, misplaced satire. No referenced cited. The "tambourine, woodblock and triangle" are simplistic instruments. While someone may have observed the subject of the wikipedia article playing these instruments, the issue seems irrelevant. Recommend removal of statement. WickWax (talk) 07:20, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
There is a YouTube video which promotes Eastern Orthodox Christianity that is narrated by Stephen Baldwin. Did he convert again? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.234.155.190 (talk) 23:40, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
I wonder why Stephen Baldwin's defense of Kirk Cameron's anti-gay comments are not referenced in Stephen Baldwin's article? Isn't this fact relevant to Stephen's wiki-article? Below is a video when Stephen Baldwin clarified his stand behind Kirk Cameron's views.
