Once the final death toll and damages come in, should the article be high in importance? --Yueof theNorth 00:45, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
Tropical Storm Agatha has now killed 102 (at last check) people, which qualifies it for listing at the Pacific hurricane list. I've taken the liberty of adding it there. Agatha is now the deadliest Pacific hurricane since Pauline. I'd love to be wrong, but I'm doubtful fewer than three of the 40+ missing people are alive. Once their inevitable deaths become official, Agatha will move past Ismael as the sixth-deadliest Pacific hurricane. Should the worst happen and more than (at least) 235 die, Agatha will be the fifth-deadliest Pacific hurricane, qualifying it for listing on the template. CNN Article - This article shows a picture of a monstrous sinkhole caused by the storm. Now none of this is new, i live in florida, and it happens all the time, but the fact that it happened in the middle of a heavy urban area is probably important to at least mention in the article, even just to highlight the other dangers besides landslides and flooding of storms such as Agatha. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.33.138.221 (talk) 01:58, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Agatha is the deadliest eastern pacific tropical cyclone so far in the 21st Century, not sure if that bears any mention or if it is trvial. -Marcusmax(speak) 03:04, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
Agatha caused ~1.5 billion in damage, should the "Costliest pacific hurricanes" list be mentioned in the main article?98.206.70.2 (talk) 20:33, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

In this list, it is mentioned that Frank caused 136 deaths. However, in the main article it mentions that Frank's and 8-e's precursor waves caused the deaths. Is this list supposed to include deaths from precursor waves? Or did Frank really kill that many people on land? Rye998 (talk) 21:45, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

maybe we should take off the 2010 because Agatha has a good chance of being retired due to being so deadly and also costly damage. 39.tg (talk) February 16 2011

Tropical Storm Agatha → Tropical Storm Agatha (2010) – Name is not retired yet, Agatha in 1992 also caused damages N-C16 (talk) 10:20, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
Oppose – Every time someone brings up Tropical Storm Agatha, I always refer it to this storm. Not very many people know about the Agatha in 1992. HurricaneGonzalo | Talk | Contribs 19:45, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
