Is there a reason why clicking on the picture of the George Washington $1 presidential coin in the article redirects to the Chinese language (zh) edition of Wikipeida instead of to Wikimedia Commons? This isn't done for any other coin in that table, and I'm struggling to think of a reason why this was done. Is it OK if I just remove that link if there's not a good reason for it? Thanks! What you think about adding a title for predict of collapse, searche in the net you can find very sources: [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by DRIS92 (talk • contribs) 16:17, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
James Rickards predicts US dollar hegemony will collapse. Ex-CIA advisor predicts 22 August, 2023 the formal collapse day's for US dollar as world reserve currency. This investment banker point out some reasons including: weaponization of the dollar, own national debt and recent talks on the part of the BRICS+ group to create an alternative for dollar in global exchanges.
Wells Fargo analysts predicts the dollar will lose its major gains in 2023, and head into “cyclical decline”. It may peak in the final months of the year against other currencies before the cyclical decline, they continue. DRIS92 (talk) 16:01, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
Whoever wrote "... relatively unknown, but before the mid-20th century ..." has never seen a property tax bill. Mill is alive and well in mill rates and will probably be for the forseen future. Idk how to fix this wihtout going into detail, but as it is it's flat out wrong. 2600:1700:1C64:8240:68B0:4264:8079:15A9 (talk) 19:53, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
An IP user (207.96.32.81) changed the CPI to PCE in the infobox. It doesn't seem line an improvement to me. Most news outlets reporting on the US inflation report on CPI, while only a small number of specialized business/finance website pay attention to PCE. I would like to hear some reasoning for changing CPI to PCE in this article. Otherwise, I think it's best to revert. Vgbyp (talk) 14:12, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
From TD, PCE has been preferred by Federal Reserve over CPI since 2000. [1] Reasoning for the change can be found here - [2] This article or the Federal Reserve article could mention about the change from CPI to PCE by the Federal Reserve similar to Personal_consumption_expenditures_price_index#Federal_Reserve. Most sources still use CPI and Economy of the United States still uses it. Maybe an RFC on PCE vs CPI would be more appropriate as other articles may be affected.207.96.32.81 (talk) 17:10, 26 February 2024 (UTC)
