The article Hyōgo-ku, Kobe you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Hyōgo-ku, Kobe for things which need to be addressed. Are you planning on making any edits on this nomination? I'm willing to argue for the hold to be extended, but the argument would carry more weight if you did some editing before the week is up later today to show that you plan to work on improving the article. It's your choice; please let me know your plans. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:35, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Greetings. Changing the infobox field from "style" to "stance" would likely discourage editors from including peek-a-boo, switch hitter, etc., but from what I can see it happens quite rarely. If the field were changed, it would instantly render the infoboxes of tens of thousands of articles useless. It's best to just revert on sight, whilst pointing any persistent editors towards the upcoming new MOS, which covers the use of infobox fields in detail. As for specific descriptions of a boxer's actual technique, that belongs in the article prose and not the infobox. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 01:39, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

...and presumably many of the other articles on electoral districts. 1. Thanks a lot for improving them. I wish I had more time, many of them are outdated, a lot more need to be created. But then there are so many other things to be done.... 2. Could you find a way to keep the endorsers in even if they don't fit into the more fanciful results template? A plain independent is something different from, for example, an I-DPJ,PNP candidate in the late 2000s who is obviously an anti-LDP candidate backed by the main opposition. More recently there is Ibaraki 7 where an I-Kōmeitō candidate beat a Liberal Democrat twice in a row – to my knowledge the only single-member district in the country where LDP and Kōmeitō were competitors in those elections. And I could go on... In any case, I think mentioning which parties have told their followers to vote for a certain candidate should be in the results. --Asakura Akira (talk) 08:16, 10 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi Athomeinkobe! Please note that including the actual rankings of the schools is a copyright violation. The reason for this is because the rankings are based on some subjective criteria or formula, thus making it a creatively-derived list. This would not be the case for something like a list of schools ranked by attendance, which is just a raw factual number. We have an essay which explains this in more detail at WP:CIL. Thanks for understanding, and for the effort put into it so far. CrowCaw 22:52, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

The references 4,5,6,7 are not relevant to SOAU and readers. It has nothing to do with the accreditation agency. So "The university also claims certification by the International Accreditation Organization,[4] a website which The New York Times and other sources have reported as a distributor of illegitimate degrees.[5][6][7]' and the references 4-7 need to be deleted. It is not good for wikipedia to show something irrelevant and ridiculous. Readers will get annoyed! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.88.12.235 (talk) 15:06, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

130.88.12.235 (talk) 10:30, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Do you have any confirmation that SOAU is accredited to Pakistan based IAO as the link (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axact) in the SOAU Wikipedia page suggests? If you are not sure, then you should remove the entire ambiguous sentence and references. By the way, well established Indian Universities do not need foreign accreditation. As you know SOAU is well accredited with Indian Government agencies. Even if these references stay in the Wikipedia pages nothing will happen to the University's reputation and functioning. People of India believe in Indian accreditation agencies than foreign accreditation agencies. Therefore baseless and ambiguous sentences and references should be removed to maintain Wikipedia standard.
I again removed Draft:L'Immortel from WP:PNT. Drafts aren't handled there, and this is consistent with existing practice. It's for articles that created in article space for a two-week grace period before being deleted. In contrast, if an article remains in Draft space without being made ready for article space, then it simply won't be approved to move into article space. It isn't "hiding" the problem, as you suggest. There is no problem, at least of the sort that WP:PNT is for. —Largo Plazo (talk) 00:38, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Just thanks for answering. I did place the question very long time ago and many insertions including 3 charts and 3 tables etc. I don't want to change anything more on the article but anyway there should be a clearing about the relation of nuclear 0 deaths to tsunami and quake 19 000 deaths including japanese dying from gas explosion because not using atomic power and also inside article should be the human reasons for the desaster clearly to be sawn in comparision with old german konvoi reactors like done in spectrum science article. Konvoi layout was for highest water in 10 000 years and strongest quake in 100 000 years. Instead 2 generators 4 and 2-4 different fully bunkered including fuel tanks and in case of H2 and overpressure 99.9% filtered oulet. The tsunami was about 15 m high going over the tsunami protection wall breaking a 10m high door that way disturbing the generators so that no decay heat cooling was possible for some time. H2 explosions happend also in the empty neighbor block etc.
Not to be disscused only to be understood is that own THOR HTR pebble bed design doesnt have any `nuclear risk left also with quakes >12 (log) and tsunami >100m with trucks thrown on the reactor and leaving near whole japan destroyed and japanese dead.
That is possible not only because of strong quake and water proof outer containment out of steel, concrete and double steel but because of pebble material again out of new RBN Reactor boron nitride made only out of isotopes B-11 and N-15 that way near diamond hard up to 2800°C, melting 2973°C, unburnable, unsoluble in water, high heat movement, cool shock resistant.
Also airplane crash, tank shooting and bunker blaster break though can`t cause a nuclear catastrophe because most is staying baked inside the pebbles also some are broken and no spreaders around with not radioactive helium and sand additional unburnable and unsoluble if rain added going out outside because loosing to much neutrons and gamma ray protection over enough distance. Also terrorist attack and human error are undangerous because of passive switch-of systems and passive cooling without power.
Japan was installing passive H2 converters from Areva but better is 99.9 filtering system and for core catcher HfC, ZrB2... Melting point of Areva EPR catcher out of ZrO2 and spread area out of cast iron is under melting point of UO2 so it can melt also neutron absorbtion under core is missed with ZrO2, reflecting core bottom likely with resonance gamma and much "U235m".

Hi Athomeinkobe, Just a heads up but the "fixing grammar" in Prashantpking's edit summaries is actually a glitch with a mobile app or something (It's all here),
Apparently the editor hasn't got any talkpage notifications either so they've been reverted and probably have no idea why so I would ask infuture if you see the editor to try and remember this incident before reverting - As far as I'm aware it's not the editor that's actually adding that edit summary,

You reverted my addition of Donald Trump to God emperor and told me to see the talk page. But I don't think you saw my edit summary, I added more sources on the talk page, so the Huffington Post source isn't the only one. In your past reverts of Trump you have said "one reddit thread is hardly enough" and "completely uncited".[6][7] The one source should be enough to overcome those concerns, it says: The practice of using this name for Trump apparently caught on last spring. New York Times reporter Jonathan Weisman wrote in May about the deluge of anti-Semitic hate he’d received from self-identified Trump supporters, including “Nazi iconography of the shiftless, hooknosed Jew” from a user called “Trump God Emperor.”[8] ZN3ukct (talk) 05:24, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
Hi there, I see you reverted my edit with reason "with respect, you shouldn't revert talk page comments, even though I disagree with them too". I can say it wasn't because I would disagree with that 85.76-something/IPv6-editor. It is because that user behind all those changing IP-addresses is User 'WPK', who according to user page on fi-wiki says "made first edit on 17 June 2008 at 19.24 and last edit on 31 December 2010 at 1.59.". But since user ever registered to fi-wiki, it's been constant block evasion when account 'WPK' has been blocked. I can say that's why I say it's WP:LTA and user has been editing the same articles all the years and using same "arguments" and that's why I wrote "rv, this can't be anything else than trolling anymore". Just trying to give you simply explanation of the situation. :) Best regards, --80.220.226.181 (talk) 05:38, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
Hi Athomeinkobe, Thanks to welcome message, I have seen reverted my edit at Arya (actor) with the reason of the addition of italics was unnecessary. This one I agree, i.e., The company's website link mentioned. but I don't agree that I did not add any additional italics unnecessary. Here an italics need for "Pothys" brand. Please let me guide if any wrong edits. Regards, user:Ganapathy.rangappa
Yes, You are right. According to the manual of style, italics would not normally be used for the name of the brand. But here thing is the name of the source. Thanks and Regards, user:Ganapathy.rangappa —Preceding undated comment added 08:46, 2 September 2016 (UTC)

Tom Waits has a marvelous song about being in Japan, or hit there. I am not 100% sure why you think a Hotel in Tasmania and 1942 'Japanese Scare' in Perth are worth editing, but I have changed parts as you have missed the point in one, but I am not sure about the other. Hi, the list is incomplete, but i can finish it. It is not a random list, the people are taken from dewiki and then only the people who have an article in enwiki. Imho every town should have : 'Sons and daughters of the town'. I can make the list as a link, so it takes up no space.Regards--Buchbibliothek (talk) 07:10, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for you edit. Actually to be consistent with other articles of this type (like Soba, Spaghetti, etc.), I thought it is better to talk only about the ingredients of the Udon itself. Adding the ingredients of the Udon Soup can be confusing, as the article is about Udon. Different type of Udon dishes are described in the article, one of them is the Udon soup. But there is other dishes with Udon but without Udon Soup, like Yaki Udon. Maybe we can create another page for Udon Soup?
I am working on a research project on DBpedia (Wikipedias Open Linked data). And in order for DBpedia to be usable, it is necessary to have standardized and consistent information in the infobox. ==

I can explain you why... first editing the inaccurate information and second deleting information which is misleading and also inaccurate. There is more in the article which is pointing out facts which are altered to incorrect statements. But as long as the changes are not being considered and continually being reverted there is no really point in making any other changes. Can someone explain me what is the main reason for not allowing me to correct the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by K.Seek (talk • contribs) 21:34, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your edit on 'Tokyo 10th district by-election, 2016', is there any chance you could please expand and add detail to the page, 'Fukuoka 6th district by-election, 2016' too? Thank you in advance.
Sorry. I accidentally undid your edit at Ichirō Terao, I was following the IP as I had actually asked for the userbox and didn't see the intermediate edit. I know it's a short article, it's my hope that the box will be populated as information is found. But totally didn't mean to steamroll you. I was surprised when I looked back over my edit summary and it said I had added a huge chunk, and I thought, "I just put a reference inline wtf?" ごめんなさい--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 00:44, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
Hi Athomeinkobe, I believe Kudpung recently asked if you would consider re-polling at WP:ORCP? We're yet to see a poll, and my preliminary look through your contribs show an improvement since your last (still pretty good!) poll - I'd urge you to put your name in the ring again -- samtar talk or stalk 20:23, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
Just give me the nod and I'll create Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Athomeinkobe - Samtar, do you want to be co-nom? Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 11:31, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
Okay, here's the formal stuff:
Ritchie333 would like to nominate you to become an administrator. Please visit Wikipedia:Requests for adminship to see what this process entails, and then contact Ritchie333 to accept or decline the nomination. A page will then be created for your nomination at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Athomeinkobe. If you accept the nomination, you must state and sign your acceptance. You may also choose to make a statement and/or answer the optional questions to supplement the information your nominator has given. Once you are satisfied with the page, you may post your nomination for discussion, or request that your nominator do so. |
As Samtar says, you need to answer the three standard questions, and hopefully you'll have some idea of what to say if you're seriously considering an RfA. What I would recommend is to EMAIL both of us with your answers first, we can review them, then once we're happy, you can add them. There's no deadline for any of this; the RfA will remain in "draft" state until a) you formally accept it (it should be obvious where) and b) somebody transcludes it on the main page (I'd recommend the nominator does this simply because it's easy to get wrong and people won't oppose you if somebody else messes the transclusion up). Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:31, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
If/when you have time, the Akira Watanabe (Scouting) article is plain, but there is more stuff in the Japanese article. Can you bring it over, but not in list form? Thanks!--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 03:47, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
-- samtar talk or stalk 07:27, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
Hi, how are things? I've reviewed your questions and provided you're happy with them I can complete the RfA and we'll be off and running. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:17, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
Hey man. I just created that article and was doing research on when I got a notification saying that you deleted it. So please tell me before you delete an article so I have a heads up about it so I can get my stuff together and work on it.
