November 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to Chen Kuang-fu, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 10:39, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I reverted to the previous version and added the respective election articles as see alsos. Wanted to keep the content on this page cleaned up (instead of just a bunch of electoral tables that can be found on the other pages). Butterdiplomat (talk) 10:57, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In addition, most of the tables were actually unsourced! Please allow me to continue improving upon the article. I am adding more content and sources as we speak. Butterdiplomat (talk) 11:05, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Aggarwala2727. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Ill-gotten Party Assets Settlement Committee have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. aggarwala2727 (talk) 12:06, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please explain what was not constructive. I fixed a redirecting link (Republic of China to Taiwan) given the agency was founded in the modern era, and reworded the description. Both were minor edits that clarified the article. Butterdiplomat (talk) 12:13, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

LabTurbo Biotech moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to LabTurbo Biotech. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BoraVoro (talk) 12:17, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Will continue working on the draft and adding sources to establish notability. Butterdiplomat (talk) 13:30, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I’m not sure this was warranted. I added sources for all content added. Would you mind looking into what exactly was problematic or help me revert this removal if possible? Butterdiplomat (talk) 01:29, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Yun Hai[edit]

On 11 February 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Yun Hai, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that New York store Yun Hai raised nine times its fundraising target to support Taiwanese farmers after China banned the import of their pineapples? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Yun Hai. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Yun Hai), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello, Butterdiplomat! Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! Geardona (talk to me?) 17:34, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Much appreciated. The sections marked as copyrighted work was actually almost all taken from China and the United Nations verbatim (with the intention to siphon the relevant content from that article into this one). Since the content was so well-sourced and in Wikipedia format, I wonder if it is possible that the blog post had taken the content from that original article? Please let me know what the best way to proceed is. In the meantime, I am happy to start piecing and paraphrasing these sections. Butterdiplomat (talk) 03:53, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

RFA2024 update: no longer accepting new proposals in phase I[edit]

Hey there! This is to let you know that phase I of the 2024 requests for adminship (RfA) review is now no longer accepting new proposals. Lots of proposals remain open for discussion, and the current round of review looks to be on a good track towards making significant progress towards improving RfA's structure and environment. I'd like to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has given us their idea for change to make RfA better, and the same to everyone who has given the necessary feedback to improve those ideas. The following proposals remain open for discussion:

To read proposals that were closed as unsuccessful, please see Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/2024 review/Phase I/Closed proposals. You are cordially invited once again to participate in the open discussions; when phase I ends, phase II will review the outcomes of trial proposals and refine the implementation details of other proposals. Another notification will be sent out when this phase begins, likely with the first successful close of a major proposal. Happy editing! theleekycauldron (talk • she/her), via:

Hi there! Phase I of the Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/2024 review has concluded, with several impactful changes gaining community consensus and proceeding to various stages of implementation. Some proposals will be implemented in full outright; others will be discussed at phase II before being implemented; and still others will proceed on a trial basis before being brought to phase II. The following proposals have gained consensus:
