Hello, I'm Donner60. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Relationship of Eve Polastri and Villanelle seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Donner60 (talk) 03:10, 14 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Hello, Citrivescence. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Hi Citrivescence. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Minor user rights can now be accorded on a time limited or probationary period, so do check back at WP:PERM/NPR in case this concerns your application. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encylopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. Swarm {talk} 19:47, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
Could you elaborate on what aspects you view as undersourced? All statements are reliably sourced and demonstrate her notability. Thanks, StudiesWorld (talk) 12:09, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
This is a response to your message of "COI disclosure request". I declare that I am not being directly or indirectly compensated for my edits to the Native Scientist page, nor any other page in Wikipedia. I am unsure about what might have given this impression and would be happy to have further clarification on this. I created this page some time ago and it has been tagged as "This article contains content that is written like an advertisement", so I made edits to try make it as neutral as possible.
Hi, thank you for the vigilance on looking for copyvios. However in the request at Rebecca Gomperts I don't think the need for rev-del is there. The content is fairly minimal and as Wikipedia:Plagiarism#What is not plagiarism bullet point 3 says simple, non-creative lists of information that are common knowledge. If the list is drawn from another source (i.e., it is not common knowledge), or if creativity has gone into producing a list by selecting which facts are included, or in which order they are listed, then reproducing the list without citing its source may constitute plagiarism.
Here the material is sourced and the non-neutral terms like "controversial" were omitted and not used in any event. If you disagree with me, then fine as it's only my interpretation of the policy and you can ask for another opinion at Wikipedia:Copyright problems. It's another matter entirely as to whether or not the detailed information needed to be in the article in the first place and not anything I offer an opinion on. Nthep (talk) 12:38, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
I notice that you moved a biography to draft space citing insufficient sourcing. I understood that as a minimum biogs of people that are alive need one source. This person is dead and the article has three sources. Is there a new minimum? Why was this missed out on an AFD as it has effectively been deleted. I intend to move it back today. Thanks. Hello Citrivescence,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Thirst Aid Kit for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. On 23 February 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Leikeli47, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that African-American rapper Leikeli47 always masks her face while performing, saying it makes her feel "free"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Leikeli47. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, ), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I noticed you removed the notability tag from Muriel Leung with this edit: [3]. I'm curious why you removed it without engaging in the ongoing discussion on the article's talk page or addressing any of the issues raised there, such as the unreliable sourcing, citation bombing, and other indications that the subject does not actually meet our notability guidelines. Would you mind explaining your edit? Thanks. Bakazaka (talk) 09:17, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
You deleted the page The Gay Rub without offering any explanation for why you did so or engaging in any discussion on the talk page. Please can you let me know the reasoning behind removing it? Thanks.Kazrene (talk) 19:30, 10 April 2019 (UTC)Kazrene
I would disagree that this content was "substantially similar" and necessitated a merge. Although Steven Reigns created the Gay Rub (and that information is, rightly, given on his page), the project has an independent existence. It is also categorized differently to the Reigns page (a living person biography) in that it contains information that is useful to people researching LGBT history, monument markers, persons commemorated in those markers etc. The LGBT history category is quite thin on Wikipedia as it is. Much of the Gay Rub information is not relevant to the Reigns page and may well be deleted by future editors. I believe you have also now flagged the Reigns page as needing editing - again without explanation or suggestions on the talk page – so this is likely to happen. The Gay Rub page is effectively deleted (there's no way to access it, or any of the edits or previous discussion, it just redirects). It would have been more helpful to have a discussion about the validity of the page while it still existed. I propose that you restore the Gay Rub as a separate page so that a fruitful discussion can take place. It would also be extremely helpful if you could highlight specific issues with the Reigns page so they can be corrected. Thanks Kazrene (talk) 17:57, 11 April 2019 (UTC)Kazrene
Hi. I noticed you recently put a copyedit tag on the article for Derek S. Green. Your reason was "tone" but you did not provide any additional information in the tag or on the talk page, and I'm not sure what you find problematic. hi Citrivescence,
I see you speedily deleted the page for the Princeton Area Community Foundation because it was not clear why it was worthy of a wikipedia page. I unfortunately did not see your notice until it was too late to contest it. The Princeton Area Community Foundation is a community foundation that notably contributes to the public good. The work of the PACF is reported about in multiple news outlets. (see citations) Perhaps I did not clearly explain it's note-worthiness well enough in the wiki article, my apologies. Could you email me the code and give a chance to clarify it or revive it as a draft?
Please read this article if you are still unclear why community foundations are important and newsworthy. It is from the NYtimes and quotes a former president of the PACF: https://www.nytimes.com/1994/01/30/nyregion/foundations-help-without-fanfare.html
One question: Why speedily delete vs a non-speedily delete?
Thank you for your time --Mrgarden 2342 (talk) 19:09, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

Two requested improvements have already been completed. These are:
Rosguill has been compiling a list of reliable sources across countries and industries that can be used by new page patrollers to help judge whether an article topic is notable or not. At this point further discussion is needed about if and how this list should be used. Please consider joining the discussion about how this potentially valuable resource should be developed and used.

Hello, Citrivescence. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Benji Aflalo".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the ((db-afc))
, ((db-draft))
, or ((db-g13))
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 16:30, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
Hello Citrivescence,
More new features are being added to the feed, including the important red alert for previously deleted pages. This will only work if it is selected in your filters. Best is to 'select all'. Do take a moment to check out all the new features if you have not already done so. If anything is not working as it should, please let us know at NPR. There is now also a live queue of AfC submissions in the New Pages Feed. Feel free to review AfCs, but bear in mind that NPP is an official process and policy and is more important.
Articles are still not always being checked thoroughly enough. If you are not sure what to do, leave the article for a more experienced reviewer. Please be on the alert for any incongruities in patrolling and help your colleagues where possible; report patrollers and autopatrolled article creators who are ostensibly undeclared paid editors. The displayed ORES alerts offer a greater 'at-a-glance' overview, but the new challenges in detecting unwanted new content and sub-standard reviewing do not necessarily make patrolling any easier, nevertheless the work may have a renewed interest factor of a different kind. A vibrant community of reviewers is always ready to help at NPR.
The backlog is still far too high at between 7,000 and 8,000. Of around 700 user rights holders, 80% of the reviewing is being done by just TWO users. In the light of more and more subtle advertising and undeclared paid editing, New Page Reviewing is becoming more critical than ever.
NPR is triage, it is not a clean up clinic. This move feature is not limited to bios so you may have to slightly re-edit the text in the template before you save the move. Anything that is not fit for mainspace but which might have some promise can be draftified - particularly very poor English and machine and other low quality translations.
Remember to use the message feature if you are just tagging an article for maintenance rather than deletion. Otherwise articles are likely to remain perma-tagged. Many creators are SPA and have no intention of returning to Wikipedia. Use the feature too for leaving a friendly note note for the author of a first article you found well made or interesting. Many have told us they find such comments particularly welcoming and encouraging.
Admins are now taking advantage of the new time-limited user rights feature. If you have recently been accorded NPR, do check your user rights to see if this affects you. Depending on your user account preferences, you may receive automated notifications of your rights changes. Requests for permissions are not mini-RfAs. Helpful comments are welcome if absolutely necessary, but the bot does a lot of the work and the final decision is reserved for admins who do thorough research anyway.
School and academic holidays will begin soon in various places around the Western world. Be on the lookout for the usual increase in hoax, attack, and other junk pages.
Our next newsletter might be announcing details of a possible election for co-ordinators of NPR. If you think you have what it takes to micro manage NPR, take a look at New Page Review Coordinators - it's a job that requires a lot of time and dedication.

A tag has been placed on File:Mitra Jouhari.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 15:34, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
Did I miss something? - You seem to be quite careful about licensing and noting the source for files. But in this instance, I can find no Creative Commons license listed at the source page or within the video itself. -- Whpq (talk) 15:43, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
@Whpq: Hi, yes, I think there is a misunderstanding. I think the issue is that the license is hidden on the page. Directly below the title of the video there is a clickable text that says "More" and if you click that you'll see the license. The license is Attribution 3.0 Unported, see here: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/. Please let me know if you're able to locate the license. Thanks! --Citrivescence (talk) 18:07, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
I think this article deserves a full AFD discussion. Shin has had a productive career with recurring roles in some major television series. For the time being, I've stubbed the page and added a couple of references, but I haven't done any serious searching for sources.
Keep in mind that I created this article in 2005, which was a very different time for Wikipedia. Of course, the vast bulk of the content was added by other users. Zagalejo^^^ 02:04, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for creating Chella Man.
User:Rosguill while reviewing this page as a part of our page curation process had the following comments:
The article is a bit too reliant on interview-based sources to solidly establish that notability guidelines have been met. That having been said, an internet search suggested to me that you could likely find enough independent coverage out there.

Hello Citrivescence,
Instead of reaching a magic 300 as it once did last year, the backlog approaching 6,000 is still far too high. An effort is also needed to ensure that older unsuitable older pages at the back of the queue do not get automatically indexed for Google.
A proposal is taking place here to confirm a nominated user as Coordinator of NPR.
Why I Hate Speedy Deleters, a 2008 essay by long since retired Ballonman, is still as valid today. Those of us who patrol large numbers of new pages can be forgiven for making the occasional mistake while others can learn from their 'beginner' errors. Worth reading.
Do bear in mind that articles in the feed showing the trash can icon (you will need to have 'Nominated for deletion' enabled for this in your filters) may have been tagged by inexperienced or non NPR rights holders using Twinkle. They require your further verification.
Please be sure to look for the tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary. WMF policy requires paid editors to connect to their adverts.
Regular reviewers will appreciate the most recent enhancements to the New Pages Feed and features in the Curation tool, and there are still more to come. Due to the wealth of information now displayed by ORES, reviewers are strongly encouraged to use the system now rather than Twinkle; it will also correctly populate the logs.
Stub sorting, by SD0001: A new script is available for adding/removing stub tags. See User:SD0001/StubSorter.js, It features a simple HotCat-style dynamic search field. Many of the reviewers who are using it are finding it an improvement upon other available tools.
Assessment: The script at User:Evad37/rater makes the addition of Wikiproject templates extremely easy. New page creators rarely do this. Reviewers are not obliged to make these edits but they only take a few seconds. They can use the Curation message system to let the creator know what they have done.
DannyS712 bot III is now patrolling certain categories of uncontroversial redirects. Curious? Check out its patrol log.
