My name is not Bud, you can take your whoa and shove it where the sun don't shine and I added two reliable sources, making removal of that tag perfectly legit. Have some respect, ya fukkin jerk! Gtwfan52 (talk) 23:56, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

You have no reason to refer to any user as "Bud", or to say whoa like you are some sort of rulemaker. As you were the one that started the incivility with your rude edit summary, I will be removing your warning, and we can finish this discussion civilly at AfD. You managed to hit two of my hot buttons in the space of three words. You can ask just about anyone, I am not easy to anger. I apologize for my outburst and ask that you show more respect in your edit summaries in the future. Gtwfan52 (talk) 00:18, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
I agree to disagree. I think the two references I added, which took me two minutes to find, are plenty to meet GNG. No, it won't meet NMUSIC, but is a YouTube artist really a musician? I am not a real big fan of the whole YouTube thing, and this is the first time I have ever supported a YouTube-type artist. Two reasons---This kid has got talent...The Killer Queen vid in the Huffington ref was solid work, both in music and video. And the article has been around almost three years already....that somewhat speaks to its utility to Wikipedia. On the civility subject again, I really do apologize...that was quite unlike me. Might I suggest that you keep in mind the lack of visual clues in internet communications and try to stick to less colloquial language to avoid situations like these? I can't know that "Bud" is a normal part of your lexicon and I daresay that there are many people who, without visual clues to the contrary, might take offense at being addressed by a term normally reserved for horses. Lee Ann Womack

Thanks for the friendly message! In the little spare time I have, I've been trying to clean country artists' discographies. I kept passing by Lee Ann Womack's and it just looked disgusting, so I made it my new project! I do appreciate your friendly message, and if you work a lot with country articles, then I guess I'll see ya around! ChrisTofu11961 (talk) 20:53, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Need You Now International Album Cover.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Need You Now International Album Cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 16:19, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

RE: Harlem Shake (song)

Thank you for your comment at Talk:Harlem_Shake_(song)#Ownership_of_the_article. Can you please comment on the issue further, because the other editor in question hasnt responded to my explainations in either case when we reverted each other. I keep citing Wikipedia guidelines, and he keeps introducing good-faith, but unconstructive edits. Dan56 (talk) 00:59, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Appreciate your soliciting for opinions, but I dont think Wikiproject talk pages are supposed to be used for that, as it says on the talk page header "For disputes, seek dispute resolution". I've already asked a couple of editors who are experienced in writing and reviewing articles, Status and J Mibulrn (although the latter seems to be offline). I might ask another. Dan56 (talk) 09:35, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
Good morning. :I'm sure it's fine, I've done it and have seen others do it before. The article is in the scope of the WikiProject and broadly asking is neutral, I would personally refrain from asking specific editors because this could be viewed as canvassing. (but that's just me) Cheers NYSMy talk page 12:37, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Neon Trees ft Kaskade Lessons in Love.jpeg)

Thanks for uploading File:Neon Trees ft Kaskade Lessons in Love.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 05:02, 8 March 2013 (UTC)

Done.

Eh, I've seen the title without the caps in places as well and either way, there's songs like "TiK ToK" that do not retain their weird stylistic formats on Wikipedia, so the 'all-caps' should be no more than a small one-time mention if it must be brought up at all. The way I see it, it's just a clever, cutesy marketing strategy or something of that nature. It's not like they've capitalized the letters because they stand for something or anything like that anyway. CloversMallRat (talk) 17:30, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

Could I have 2 mins of your time? As I’ll be working on some other projects for Wikimedia Germany as well from now on the time I can spend on Wikidata will be reduced. This means I’ll have to figure out what is useful to spend time on. If you’re reading this could you let me know for example on this discussion page? Also if you have ideas how to improve the weekly summaries please post them. --Lydia Pintscher (WMDE) (talk)

Can someone help with this file? A lot of us have tried to update Florida as you can see in the file history, but it won't appear. However if you view the full size of the image you can see Florida updated. NYSMy talk page 03:19, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

Florida appears the same to me in both the thumbnail and the full version. Have you tried clearing your cache? m.o.p 03:29, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Yes. Florida also looks the same to me in the thumbnail and above the thumbnail on the file page (gray), but when I click the image and view full size it is blue, which doesn't match the current revision. Even if you revert to a revision where Florida is blue it remains gray in the current revision. NYSMy talk page 03:38, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Try viewing the file with a purge appended to it, like this: [9] Other than that, I can't really suggest anything - the image looks as it should to be in both thumbnail and full sizes. m.o.p 04:26, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Are you seeing Florida as gray or blue? It should be blue. NYSMy talk page 04:31, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
As gray. m.o.p 04:46, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Can you go to Commons and switch to a blue revision? NYSMy talk page 04:50, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

So I tried and now it looks weird. It seems that certain resolutions of the file are updating while others remain stuck. I assume it's related to this recent bug - for now, your only recourse is to wait and see if our techs can iron things out. m.o.p 05:28, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

Thanks B NYSMy talk page 05:36, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
I assume it's the same issue as bugzilla:46976 but so far I miss information here which exact thumbnail (size!) the problem happens with in order to investigate. Feel free to add a comment with exact steps to reproduce to that bug report. --AKlapper (WMF) (talk) 22:56, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
I'm not familiar with this technical stuff, but right now the image is showing correctly at List_of_supporters_of_same-sex_marriage_in_the_United_States#U.S._Senators, but when you click the image it is stuck at/showing the revision from 17:35, 2 April 2013. That's all I can really say. NYSMy talk page 01:22, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

Is Union Station (Kansas City) a reportedly haunted locations in the United States

Two years ago, you added a category to Union Station (Kansas City, Missouri) without citing a reference in the article itself that substantiates that assertion. Please update the article to reflect the category you added, or remove the category. Thanks. 68.165.77.6 (talk) 06:31, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

I appreciate the consultation, but I did that 2 years ago, you could've just went ahead and deleted. It was listed as such on this Wiki page so I added the category to correlate I suppose. Just remove it if you'd like, I really don't have any time or interest in editing presently. NYSMy talk page 16:35, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
