I recently made a major update to the Navy Supply Corps School page and it was reverted. This edit is the product of weeks of work and research that has been edited by my chain of command at the Navy Supply Corps School in Newport, RI. Thank you for your understanding.

This is being sent to you because you are listed as an emeritus member of MedCom and an examination of your contribution page suggests that you are still active at en-Wikipedia. MedCom is currently down to three or four active members (there are more than that on the active member list, but some of them have not edited Wikipedia in quite awhile). We have a current case awaiting a mediator which is receiving no response from the request for a mediator sent on the MedCom mailing list a couple of days ago, Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Expulsion of Cham Albanians. Would you please consider reactivating your membership, taking that case, or both? If you're interested in doing so and are not still on the MedCom mailing list, please just let me know and I'll reactivate you and add you to the list. Best regards, TransporterMan (talk · contribs) 19:43, 5 October 2016 (UTC) (current MedCom chairperson)
Greetings, I've been attending to fully protected files to see which ones may need unprotection/downgrading of protection and came across File:Ejaculation educational ani short.gif; is there a special concern that it is fully protected, or would semi protection suffice? Hi Phil,
Thanks for your response on my talk page. I wondered if you had an email address that's available for offsite contact? Mine should be on-file at OTRS or through the Wikipedia Library. Many thanks again. Cheers! X4n6 (talk) 23:29, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
Hi phil I'm blocked for this? Uploading unfree files after warnings This block (ID #261270) is set to expire: infinite. Thank, Ministerboy (talk) 07:32, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
Hello,
Please note that TOTP based two-factor authentication is now available for all administrators. In light of the recent compromised accounts, you are encouraged to add this additional layer of security to your account. It may be enabled on your preferences page in the "User profile" tab under the "Basic information" section. For basic instructions on how to enable two-factor authentication, please see the developing help page for additional information. Important: Be sure to record the two-factor authentication key and the single use keys. If you lose your two factor authentication and do not have the keys, it's possible that your account will not be recoverable. Furthermore, you are encouraged to utilize a unique password and two-factor authentication for the email account associated with your Wikimedia account. This measure will assist in safeguarding your account from malicious password resets. Comments, questions, and concerns may be directed to the thread on the administrators' noticeboard. Hi PhilKnight.
A new user group, New Page Reviewer, has been created in a move to greatly improve the standard of new page patrolling. The user right can be granted by any admin at PERM. It is highly recommended that admins look beyond the simple numerical threshold and satisfy themselves that the candidates have the required skills of communication and an advanced knowledge of notability and deletion. Admins are automatically included in this user right.
It is anticipated that this user right will significantly reduce the work load of admins who patrol the performance of the patrollers. However, due to the complexity of the rollout, some rights may have been accorded that may later need to be withdrawn, so some help will still be needed to some extent when discovering wrongly applied deletion tags or inappropriate pages that escape the attention of less experienced reviewers, and above all, hasty and bitey tagging for maintenance. User warnings are available here but very often a friendly custom message works best.
If you have any questions about this user right, don't hesitate to join us at WT:NPR. (Sent to all admins).MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:48, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
Hello, PhilKnight. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
If my account looks fine and as you say I'm probably not blocked, then thank you for the information. It really helps. I'm new to using Wikipedia. Thank you again. Rosrime (talk) 02:49, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
Hi, Phil, sorry to get back to you on this so late, but I did want to discuss something regarding the DarknessShines block, and didn't think his own talk page was the best place for the discussion. It was said at that discussion that the one-year AE block had already expired, and this was what I originally believed, also. But on reflection, I'm not sure that's the case. Since he had been socking at least as recently as July, I theorize that the AE block was reset (as blocks are routinely reset due to socking) as of then and thus does not expire until next July. However, I'm not completely sure AE blocks work that way, nor if the committee has ever made a statement on this matter. If you know anything on the idea, please let me know, as I think it'd be good to be sure. Heimstern Läufer (talk) 13:25, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
Did you really mean to block this IP for 3 years? Only 4 edits in the last 4 years... Meters (talk) 23:48, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
Came to you after picking some random entries at Special:Listusers with CU selected. Is there a CU noticeboard? I would have gone there, rather than coming to you (and a few other random CUs) directly, if I could have found anything beyond the clerks' page.
Would you please visit Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2016 December 8 and offer input in the ((IPsockCheckuser)) section? It was nominated on the grounds of "This exposes Checkuser info to non-Checkusers", which makes sense, but on the other hand it's been around since 2008, so if it's truly a violation, it probably would have been deleted by now. I've voted "keep until we hear from some CUs", so hearing from you would be helpful. Thanks! Nyttend (talk) 13:09, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
If you think about it, when deleting images that have been migrated to Commons, it would be great if you could compare the licensing, and correct if necessary. From the Commons side unless the checking person is an admin here they cannot compare the upload to the original. An alternative is to note the licence in the deletion comments. Thanks for the consideration. — billinghurst sDrewth 06:05, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
Dear Phil - i noticed that you deleted an article - surridge sports. I would like to reinstate this please with the correct spelling of the company Surridge Sport and to give the details of the company its history and the present owners. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Charleslord (talk • contribs) 17:38, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

I am new to the process of editing or posting information on Wikipedia. I would like to furnish information from personal and reliable sources, like " The Randolph Story " published by The Randleman Rotary Club. I also have some information on some of the Churches, and the Sophia School with pictures. Please let me know if this will be of assistance. Thank You; Stephen L. It's been almost an year since "Indian collaboration of the month" was active. Firstly we need to restart this as soon as possible for development of India-related articles to greater heights. The members page was blanked, where many of them are inactive. This mass message is to all the members of WikiProject India, about this and interested editors interested will sign up. After this message gets delivered, we'll wait for 7 days before we start a discussion under a thread on the collaboration's talk page, among the members. The discussion will include what to clean-up of sub-pages, a new set of guidelines for smooth and uninterrupted functioning of the collaboration etc. Please keep all the discussions under this thread only, so that it will easier for future reference.
