Thanks for uploading File:Alan Clark 1984.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. I share your frustration at the problem with sourcing heraldry. Unfortunately, this is compounded significantly by what seems to be a high level of administrative incompetence in the College of Arms, that is only slightly mitigated in the Lord Lyon. I can only assume the reason for that is due to the heralds being set for life, insofar as jobs go, and feeling no real need to run the place as anything other than their personal hobby. Since both the Canadian Heraldic Authority and the Chief Herald of Ireland don't have that problem, this seems to be an issue unique with English and Scottish heraldry rather than something inherent in the modern practice of heraldry. To the point you alluded to on the page, I'm pretty sure I could randomly choose any heraldic article on Wikipedia and successfully nominate it for deletion as they are all quite horribly sourced, absent just a small handful. I've tried to compose several articles on heraldry but never managed to find sufficiently quality sourcing to do anything more than these three stubs (the last of which is, itself, probably in danger of AfD): assumed arms, arms of assumption, Civic heraldry in the Czech Republic. The other day, you added coat of arms to the Baron Denman article. When I took a closer look, I discovered that there were two occurrences of DENHAM – as opposed to DENMAN – one of which was my own addition, which I now have corrected. The other one was the file name for the coat of arms image you added.

Now, as I see it, either the file was added to the wrong article, or the file has the wrong name.

Assuming it is even correct (I think arms sometimes change from one generation to the next), please would you consider an alternative format for this edit. There is no need for a separate section, the terminology is gibberish to most people, and encompassing it inside a table is poor form. The obvious sources are Burke's and Debrett's. At the bottom of their respective articles you can find links to many editions from the eighteenth century to the twentieth, which will show the arms associated with all of Britain's peerages and baronetcies. Hello. I hope you are having a great weekend so far. I just wanted to explain why I have twice removed the "Barge of the Dead" screenshot (File:VOY Barge of the Dead.jpg) from the article. On Wikipedia, it is strongly encouraged to only use non-free content to illustrate a point that cannot be fully understood through prose alone. A screenshot would be acceptable if it added to some sort of critical analysis or information about the episode's production, but the above screenshot does not show anything that is not already represented in the prose. I am the person who made the edit on Harriet Harman for it to say 'Mother of the House'. I don't understand why we should wait until she has served longer then ALL of the MPs. I thought a CHILD had a father AND mother, so why can't we say she is the Mother of the House if she has been officially dubbed it? Mother/Father of the House is not a title in the gift of the prime minister. It is a designation for the member of the house with the longest continuous service. Harriet Harman is currently seventh in line. The House of Commons research paper on the subject [[1]] says "There has not, so far, been a 'Mother of the House'." and our general article on "Father of the House" shows that institutions with such a designation will have either a Father or a Mother depending on the sex of the longest serving member. They don't have both at the same time. In any case the choice of 13 June 2017 as the start date is nonsensical as Harman has been the senior woman in the Commons for a lot longer, and if you would apply such a title to her you would logically have to apply it retroactively to a great many other female MPs all the way back to the Viscountess Astor.
