List of rampage killers (familicides in Americas)[edit]

The criteria are arbitrary (6+ dead, and perpetrator isn't one of them).

Keep all. The prefaces, maybe wrongly, say every familicide that meets the arbitrary criteria (6+ dead, and perpetrator isn't one of them) should be included. But they do not rule out other killings that meet the definition of a rampage. See also Spree killer and Mass murder. All of these mass murderers received considerable press coverage at the time, so are notable. Fair-sized articles like Wilhelm Brückner (murderer) could be developed using the sources, if anyone cared to do so. It would seem simpler to decide first to keep the lists, then discuss merging into a single article afterwards. The United States one has 120 entries and Europe has 130. Keep all I see blue links in some of these list making them valid. Ample coverage for this sort of thing, not just news, but studies done and textbooks published. Wouldn't all fit in one article. No sense in deleting entries of the list that don't have their own articles since that'd make the list incomplete. Dream Focus 05:08, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
