The result of the discussion was retarget to Student council. (non-admin closure) Captain Galaxy (talk) 21:32, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This was created in 2007 as a stub for "student council", blanked and redirected to students' union, then retargetted in 2008 to Stuart Scott. (I don't know why.) A quick look at Google News shows that the abbreviation for "student council" is more commonly stylised as "STUCO" or "StuCo" rather than "Stuco". The incoming links are all misspellings of the word "stucco". I tentatively suggest retargeting to student council with a hatnote to stucco. Cheers, gnu57 21:31, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The target page Phú Bài is not a disambiguation page nor an SIA or some other dab-like page. I tried tagging the redirect for G14 speedy deletion, but KAP03 removed the G14 tag because (s)he thinks that G14 does not apply to redirects, so now I have no choice but to consider an RfD. This is a very unlikely search term. The target is dubious, it might be Historical race concepts, but it might as well be History of anthropometry (in fact, I just changed it from Anthropometry, which was a total misfit). The title is not easily understood without some explanation (Mankind was divided into three races, sometimes into four), Negroid, Caucasoid, and Mongoloid all have their own articles, and Australoid is a redirect to Australo-Melanesian. The National Inquiry Services Center is the registrant, not Informa. Informa was previously listed as the DOI registrant, but that got updated recently. Not sure if because this was inaccurate, or because the ownership of the DOI prefix got transferred.

Either way, it's currently a misleading redirect. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 15:55, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to 22 Short Films About Springfield#"Steamed Hams". (non-admin closure) feminist | freedom isn't free 18:01, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Previous RfDs for this redirect and similar redirects:

While this target was chosen in a RfD (with little participation), it is erroneous. Cheeseburgers, steamed or otherwise, are not called "steamed hams" except in reference to the Simpsons gag and subsequent internet meme. Since a more recent RfD affirmed that the variant Steamed Hams should point to 22 Short Films About Springfield#"Steamed Hams", I propose that this one do too. Yes, WP:DIFFCAPS says we could give them different targets, but this remains nonsensical given that the term does not independently refer to real burgers. --BDD (talk) 15:53, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Term does not appear in target article. A Google search suggests that this seems to be an alternative name used for the search engine, but still very few pageviews overall. CycloneYoris talk! 02:08, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Several Hankisons are mentioned on Wikipedia, none with any real significant coverage. The search results are considered the best option in the absence of a specific logical target. ~ mazca talk 12:31, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

French music and English music are disambiguation pages listing Music of France and Music of England, as well as various musical traditions in those respective languages. I don't see why Spanish music should be treated any differently, particularly where there are substantial genres of music in the Spanish language that are not from Spain (e.g., most Latin music), and music from Spain that is instrumental, and therefore not in a specific language. The result of the discussion was delete Ʇxǝʇ uʍop-ǝpısd∩, keep the others. The original nominated redirect is considered sufficiently unlikely and silly by almost all participants, it makes heavy use of obscure special characters and has very few mentions on the internet. The other two were added mid-discussion and most following participants consider them more reasonable. ~ mazca talk 12:28, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Keep I believe these meet WP:RFD#KEEP#5. besides, redirects are cheap. Upside-down text can be found online in many different contexts and it is not reasonable to anticipate readers coming to Wikipedia to decipher it. The most commonly flipped text is, fittingly, “uʍop ǝpᴉsdn”. Google returns 137,000 results for “uʍop ǝpᴉsdn” and 41,300 results for “umop apisdn”. and it can be found in sources such as The Independent and Global News. Furthermore, these formations are used in multiple books, including The Nearest Faraway Place and Crystal Starbird Satellite. gobonobo + c 04:09, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
