Outside of Pokemon, almost all the results seem to be Japanese-language websites relating to beauty products but my knowledge of both Japanese and beauty products is insufficient to say any more. Its US name is NOT Laxbe. That was a fan name created on a forum somewhere and is not real. I just did a trademark and registry check and found nothing. These terms are not synonyms. Usually, only the nuns of some of the old orders, such as Benedictines, Cistercians etc. have abbesses, some of those orders (usually the Mendicants, with the exception of the Poor Clares), have prioresses. The much younger religious congregations have other titles to refer to their superiors. The distinction is also one of canon law. • Keep. The superior general is the head of an order. The mother superior is usually the head of an individual abbey, priory or other religious house within an order. I appreciate mother superior is mostly just a generic title rather than an official title, but it is a commonly used term and is no more synonymous with superior general than you're claiming it is with abbess. A separate article at this title would probably be fine (so write one!), but not a change in the redirect target.
