Akbarabad (Persian: اكبراباد, also Romanized as Akbarābād)[3] is a village in, and the capital of Akbarabad Rural District of Qorqori District, Hirmand County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 148 in 31 households, when it was in Qorqori Rural District of the former Miyan Kongi District of Zabol County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 148 people in 37 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Hirmand County.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 153 people in 41 households.[2]
