Charles Richard Jeremy Elwes (born 15 July 1997) is a British rower.[2]

Career

Elwes won a bronze medal competing in eight at 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.[3]

In 2021, Elwes won a European gold medal in the eight in Varese, Italy.[4][5] In 2022, Elwes won a European gold medal in the eight in Munich, Germany. [6]

Elwes was a member of Oxford crew who won The Boat Race 2022, where he was studying medical ethics. Also in 2022, he won the Grand Challenge Cup (the blue riband event at the Henley Royal Regatta), rowing for the Leander Club.[7]
