Dear Addshore, I have been using ((welcome!)) instead of ((welcome)), but I think your bot is still replacing them...I am confused; why are they being replaced in the first place? I am also asking as I have an idea about changing the template. Cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 11:20, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Double redirects via "Foo (disambiguation)" as a rule are intentional. Please program your bot to leave them as they are. --Una Smith (talk) 19:41, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Glype Proxy Site.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:26, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Hiho Addshore, I have recently had no internet access and was unable to check on Wiki and ACC. I tried to login a couple of minutes ago and the dreaded message appears:

I was just wondering why, and if the account could be un-suspended. XD

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on AdBux, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because AdBux is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Hi,
I notice you (or your master) are substing in the vandalism templates. It seems to have gone through the whole bots approval thing fine, but I'm wondering why... Leaving them unsubsted keeps editing vandal usertalk pages nice and clean, and I'd like to think once in a while a vandal notices we're just feeding them templates and realises we're quite equipped to deal with them and gives up sooner. --fvw* 08:12, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi, TexasAndroid deleted our page and upset the 85 members of the Chicago Film Producers Alliance. The reason he gave was "A7" - something about not having a legitimate reason for our article. CFPA has 85 producers who have completed award winning films. One of our members is Kartemquin Films (Hoops Dreams) and are currently up for an Oscar. How is an alliance of 85 producers, a group that is winning awards and is open to the public, not worth noting in Wikipedia? If this is not worthy, on what grounds does Wikipedia include Warners Bros and other film company and organizations? What do I need to do to get our organization accepted? --ATurnerIII (talk) 19:24, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
An article about a real person, an organization (e.g. band, club, company, etc., except schools), or web content that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant. This is distinct from verifiability and reliability of sources, and is a lower standard than notability. A7 applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people and organizations themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software and so on. A7 does not apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance even if the claim is not supported by a reliable source. If the claim's credibility is unclear, you can improve the article yourself, propose deletion, or list the article at articles for deletion.

Burnetts Principle is a theory on how the world began. The main idea is that at the beginning of time, a large bird known as Burnett, appeared suddenly in space and layed an egg. This egg hatched and from it came the universe. The bird dissapeared for millions of years and later reapeared in the 20th century as a dearanged old physics teacher who chatted shit and didnt have a clue what he was doing.

I'm trying to get EtherDrive wiki entry acceptable. If I remove the hyperlinks to Coraid within the copy and mention it less, will that be acceptable? I would like to advertise my band on wikipedia, i understand the terms and conditions whereby bands have to have had a breakthrough album and what not but that will never happen if sufficient coverage of the band is not shown. I know im probabaly wasting my time but it would be nice if you would make an exception. If it helps we are on youtube.
I have decided to become active on this Wikipedia once again. Just thought that I would let you know :). Cheers, Razorflame 19:59, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Would you please send me the source for my article on Jaren Cerf which was recently deleted? Dr.kwan (talk) 23:41, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

More information would be helpful please. Thanks. — RyanCross (talk) 04:40, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
Since the headline is already here, I'll reply here. Yes, I have been using the ACC tool, actually for quite some time now, but only recently have I hit my limit, so I had Account Creator rights granted to my wiki accounts. The name on there should be similar if not the same as my on-wiki name, but with underscores in it. Oh and btw, this is my public account that I'm replying with. yes I'm still using the tool but i'm not so active as I used to be because of real-life issues Alexnia (talk) 13:27, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Please explain why you deleted this page. I would have thought that being world champion in a sport pracised by tens of thousands of people around the world would self-evidently make one a notable person. ThanksManormadman (talk) 15:23, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Here is the link again: http://www.fai.org/hang_gliding/node/532
If it didn't work, could you not have told me, and I would have tried to fix it?

Thank you very much. It's the first article that I've created, and I hope I've done it mostly right!Manormadman (talk) 15:47, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
I just wanted to let you know that I've nominated an article for GA status. Cheers, Razorflame 18:53, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
why do you keep deleting the Dunham house info: it is a registered non for profit with related info to the Obama family tree. Who are you and why can you keep deleting it.....The president has been out to the house 2 times and i just talked to him last week in washington.. Do i need to get a official letter from him or his staff for you not to delete it anymore????

Hello! Thanks for dropping me the message. I am actually using the tool, but I do not see an opinion to change my username. Could you please direct me on how to do that. The actual problem... is that the username in ACC is Matthew_Yeager and wiki has it as Matthew Yeager (no underscore). Let me know what I can do to correct this. Thank you for your time, MatthewYeager 04:26, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
My RFA passed today at 150/48/6. I wanted to thank you for weighing in, and I wanted to let you know I appreciated all of the comments, advice, criticism, and seriously took it all to heart this past week. I'll do my absolute best to not let any of you down with the incredible trust given me today. rootology (C)(T) 08:05, 1 February 2009 (UTC) |

Hi! Could you provide me with a copy of the wiki text for the deleted article TurnKey Linux? I was the main editor for that article and I am now in the process of disputing its speedy deletion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LirazSiri (talk • contribs) 00:08, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Hello Addshore, I'm one of many members of CVU that reverts blatant vandalism to articles that slip by the bots. I was wanting to utilize Huggle instead of having to do the manual "Recent Changes" diff method. To use Huggle I would need access to rollback permissions, which I was hoping you could grant me. Thanks for your time. Fyyer (talk) 00:43, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Hi, Will it be possible to provide the text of the deleted article "Society of Abidance in Truth"? I wrote the article, but it was not written well and hence has been deleted by the administrator. I would like to make another attempt in writing a better version. My email address: rmuthukrishnan at hotmail.com. Thank you for the help. Hello, Could you e-mail me the deleted article, "Closing Iron Curtains", so I can save it and continue to edit it until it meets wikipedia's guidelines? undiscoveredbassist12 at yahoo.com Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Undiscoveredbassist12 (talk • contribs) 02:46, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi. I didn't know what the Zimmer Twins was before going to the link you gave me claiming that I edited the page; I didn't edit it. I don't particularly care that the mistake was made, but I just wanted to tell you in case you wanted to pursue whoever it was that actually made the edit.69.196.143.58 (talk) 00:58, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for that! William Avery (talk) 13:53, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Hey there WODUP. This is concerning your bots notices to user talk pages about new episodes of Wikipedia Weekly. I was wondering if you could remove one of the –'s from the bots sig. It is currently – [[User:WODUPbot|wodupbot]] – DATE
Could you remove the second –. My reason for this is it causes some archive listing bots to not recognise the date stamp. I look forward to your reply. ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 20:40, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
