This phrase isn't mentioned in the article...neither is Bill Gates. I don't know if I can find any history between Hawkins and Gates on the Internet, either. I'd say delete unless someone can find a reliable source proving he said or was called this at some point. Regards, SONIC678 20:56, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Whilst I understand from other sources that these 2 people were the 2 killed in 1980, the article does not say so (and anyone following these redirects will not learn that) and so unless there is notability and a change to the article then WP:NOTMEMORIAL applies. The result of the discussion was keep. Nomination withdrawn. (non-admin closure) Hog Farm (talk) 22:30, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Minor fictional region no longer mentioned in its target article. No merges have occurred, so no WP:ATT issues. A Google search indicates real-world usages of this term, but they mostly appear to be non-notable country clubs. Hog Farm (talk) 02:39, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Keep Well, we're down to very minor details, but Tolkien's whole approach was to work from names up to stories, so details are significant, and redirects are cheap. Tolkien lived at Sarehole and walked along Green Hill Road to visit his grandparents, the likely origin of the name. I've added a footnote with citation. The result of the discussion was retarget to Man bites dog#Man bites snake. signed, Rosguill talk 20:49, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what the appropriate venue for this is. It went through an AfD in 2009: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ben Nyaumbe, which was closed as "merge to snake". I can't believe that the original content would survive an AfD in 2020, and am somewhat shocked that it was kicked down to a redirect rather than deleted outright as recently as 2009 (seems more like 2007 or earlier Wikipedia behavior). No mention of this term at any target, nothing encyclopedic to retain. Plantdrew (talk) 02:07, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Participants agree that this is sufficiently unhelpful to warrant removing it, given the missing word gives it an extremely ambiguous meaning. ~ mazca talk 18:10, 8 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The disambiguation page should be at Valerianus (disambiguation), and Valerianus (name) should redirect to it. Leschnei (talk) 18:36, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think I did this the wrong way round (according to the arrow above). I am proposing to move the disambiguation page back to Valerianus (disambiguation), leaving Valerianus (name) as a redirect. Leschnei (talk) 18:39, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was speedy delete per criterion R3 by GB fan. (non-admin closure) Steel1943 (talk) 19:56, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

First off, who types leathal instead of little? Second, leathal instead of little makes it sound like an action or horror movie. I suggest speedy delete per R3. OcelotCreeper (talk) 18:27, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Hog Farm: Thanks. I wanted to tag this instead of nominating it, but the only times they were accepted were when other more experienced Wikipedians also said speedy delete too so I don't eventually want to get blocked for failing tagging things for CSD improperly (As in I don't want to tag articles improperly so much, it becomes disruptive). OcelotCreeper (talk) 19:10, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Hog Farm: I know right? Not only is it hard to misspell little as lethal, but lethal is misspelled as leathal too. Even though I nominated Hugbunter for deletion earlier today, at least I can see the logic to creating that redirect, and saying keep. This one though...... The result of the discussion was speedy keep. Withdrawn by nominator. (non-admin closure) — J947 (user | cont | ess), at 23:34, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

By having this and the actual name HugBunter as redirects, it lead to HugBunter only being a search recommendation when both of these were nominated March 11th, even when I typed HugBunter in the search box with the B capitalized, which also makes more sense having looked at the page history of HugBunter and Hugbunter. I suggest we delete Hugbunter so the actual name, HugBunter, can appear in the search box. OcelotCreeper (talk) 17:21, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Right-to-left mark. signed, Rosguill talk 20:32, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget? I'm wondering if this would be better as a redirect to Right-to-left mark, but I don't know much about this field, so I wanted to come here and get extra input instead of being bold. The current target covers mechanisms for encoding right-to-left text (this is the purpose of the right-to-left mark) and links the right-to-left mark as a see also at one point, so it's obviously relevant. I'm just not sure whether a "mark" and a "marker" are close enough to be treated simultaneously, which in this case is what a redirect would do. Note that we have no corresponding LTR marker redirect or article. Nyttend backup (talk) 14:28, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Keep Afgjanistan, delete Afeganistao, no consensus for what to do with Avghanistaun. The discussion for Avghanistaun was split between keep, redirect and delete with a few editors even stating that they weren't sure what to do with it. No prejudice against a renomination or other further action to address issues at Avghanistaun, but given that consensus is clear for the other two redirects I think a close is appropriate. signed, Rosguill talk 20:27, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Afghanistan is not an easy name to spell, but these spellings are implausible and might be intended as redirects from impertinent languages. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 05:10, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:RFOREIGN, as the concept of sleep quality doesn't seem to have a particular connection to Slovene. Plus, there's an equivalent on the Slovene Wikipedia that redirects to its equivalent to the target and was created around the same time as this one back in 2016 (when the English Wikipedia version started out as an article in Slovene before being turned into a redirect a couple weeks afterward), which doesn't help things here.
