US ionization deaths

I think this redirect was supposed to be US iodination deaths (or maybe US iodization deaths)? Ionization is very different from iodination, and the former is not mentioned at the target article. The article that would discuss this would be Acute radiation syndrome, but deaths are not discussed there in the context of the United States, so delete unless an alternative target can be identified. Mdewman6 (talk) 23:55, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Generally redirects aren't moved; this one should just be deleted and the correct form created if desired. However, I don't think we need the correct form of this redirect as there is a single sentence and a single ref about this topic at the target section; having a redirect implies this is not such a minor topic. Mdewman6 (talk) 17:09, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Redirects do not imply that. Redirects are the WP:CHEAPest thing Wikipedia has. Invasive Spices (talk) 21:57, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Cave (video game) also exists and is a lot more notable than the working title for Minecraft, and I've never seen anyone put "the" in front of it. Aaron Liu (talk) 23:33, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wildly implausible typo for a title that, per the page move, isn't a convention for the country of Djibouti to start with. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 23:31, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Red link to encourage page creation. These redirects were created back in March, way too prematurely. Dl.thinker (talk) 20:11, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep. Kar yağıyor! (non-admin closure) CLYDE TALK TO ME/STUFF DONE (I will not see your reply if you don't mention me) 06:34, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Despite repeated discussions at Talk:Turkey, a page name that always makes me smile, editors continue to insert "Türkiye" into articles and to use the non-WP:COMMONNAME country name via this redirect. I fixed all of the transclusions in article space in May 2023, and it is back in 12 articles less than two months later.

I am 100% positive that the redirect was created in good faith, but it is being abused and should be deleted to enforce the repeated discussions that resulted in the consensus that "Turkey" is the WP:COMMONNAME of this country on en.WP. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:55, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Soca per WP:SNOW. (non-admin closure) J947edits 08:30, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure about this one. Should it target the Soca dab page, and/or should it then be the primary topic there? There is more than one SOCA. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 03:52, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An ass-whooping is not the same thing as a spanking, nor are these useful redirects. A batch of related redirects were created recently by the same user so I'm bundling them together. Hey man im josh (talk) 16:37, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Common enough term during the 2017 general election and thereafter, but isn't mentioned in the article itself. Considering a redirect to strong and stable, as that mentions the term in the title of a book. Or 2017 United Kingdom general election, which mentions criticism of May as robotic... Thoughts?
